J stirred awake, blinking as his surroundings came into focus. His head pounded slightly, and as he sat up, he saw Nita and Star sitting beside him. Nita's eyes fluttered open. The moment she saw J, her face lit up. Without warning, she lunged forward and hugging him tightly.
J's cheeks burned red as he tried to pry her off. "Hey! What's gotten into you all of a sudden?"
Nita only squished him tighter, her voice shaky. "You dumbo, I… I thought you would never wake up."
"Nita, let me go you are choking me." J tried once more to free himself from Nita's grasp but to no avail.
"Don't even try. Nita has been so worried about you that she couldn't even sleep the day before." Star sighed, as she smiled in relief.
Worriedly, J asked Nita if it was true and if she was alright. Nita nodded, pulling back and wiping away her tears. Dark sport had appeared under her eyes, it was clear how tried she was. And seeing this J could only smile.
"Umm… sorry about that. I… I just got too emotional, you know." Nita said a smile on her face.
Star teasingly said, "You don't have to apologize to him, I am sure that he enjoyed it."
J shook his head in denial, but he couldn't hide his blushing face.
Nita tilted her head. "I don't know, he seemed pretty uncomfortable with me hugging him."
"Anyway, enough about me. Where is Haruto?" J asked, his head still dazed.
Star crossed her arms. "You know Haruto, right? Always competing with people. Well, he has been training with the Royal guards for last two hours."
J scratched his head. "Gosh! Can't he even get a little worried for me?"
Nita giggles. "I'm just glad you're feeling alright. Anyway, I just remembered— Lina asked you to meet her. It's about your powers or something, but you'd rest a little longer."
"Mmm…So, where…"
"In the throne room." Star interrupted and with a grin said "Good luck on your date with the princess."
J knitted his eye brows. "Out of everything in the world, why would you assume that?"
"Big-sister's intuition," Star said, playfully.
"You mean an idiot's intuition." J spoke mockingly as he stood up from the bed.
Somehow he had recovered all his strength in one day as if nothing had happened. Is it because of his powers?
In a cranky tone, Star grumbled. "You…"
"Gotta go see you later." J said, before making his way to the throne room.
Nita giggles at J and Star's banter, a hint of sorrow in her voice as she said, "You two are really close, huh… I wish I could've had this close to my big brother when he was with us."
Star hugs Nita close to her chest. "Don't say that, you were pretty close to him if you ask me."
***
J stood in front of the throne room sliding the wooden door open, Lina stood in the middle of the room. Northern wind carrying cherry blossoms through the long windows.
Her voice was soft as she greeted him, but her hands trembled as she clasped them together.
"Sir J, you're awake, I'm so glad." she said, a faint smile on her face.
"Nice to hear that somebody else but, Nita is glad that I am awake." J quipped. "You wanted to tell me about powers and whatnot, right?"
Lina fidgeted with her fingers, her voice barely above a whisper. "Y-yes, it's about your powers."
J raised an eyebrow. "Hey, why are you shaking? I swear, I won't be doing anything stupid to you."
"Seriously I won't. I don't want my head chopped off." J thought to himself.
"S-sorry about that." Lina said, taking a deep breath, steadying herself, her hands fidgeting. "H-how do I say this?"
"Just say it already, would y" J said, scratching his head as he joked. "I won't judge even if you said you assassinated the king or something."
Lina stuttered. "W-what?! I would never—"
Lina glanced around. "Y-your powers are… they're identical to the demon's at least from what we can confirm. Dark magic granting you full control over shadow beast that you summoned. "
J forced a nervous smile. "You're kidding, right?"
Lina shook her head. "Of course NOT! Why'd I be joking, when my kingdom is at stake?"
"Sorry for suggesting such a thing. But can anyone teach me how to use it?" J muttered.
"Anyway, I saw a weird dream, I thought if anyone can explain iI meant, it'd be you."
"I'll try. So, please tell." Lina said, in a reassuring voice.
J took a deep breath. "Well, there was a boy with red eyes and black hair, who stood in front of two bodies. They're most likely his parents. And naturally he seemed traumatized, but instead of breaking down… he laughed."
J goes on to described how a girl with pointy ears seemed to bring light to the boy's life— only to be taken away by rich noble mans. And with a disgusted face J described, how they shattered her mind and body. But that wasn't the end J described many more things that he saw in his dream or should we call it a nightmare.
J's words sent a shiver down Lina's spine, tears welled in her eyes. "I… I don't know how to react. T-this is beyond cruelty, I wish I could've helped the boy even if he isn't real."
"But sadly I've no idea what it means, sorry I couldn't help you." Lina said somberly, wiping away her tears.
"It's okay, I'll figure it out myself." J said, with a fake smile as he turned to leave.
"Sir J, where are you going?"
"Umm… to punch Haruto in the face?"
"WHY?!" Lina exclaimed
J smirked. "I am joking. I just want to see what that meathead is up to."
"So, where's the training ground, again?" J asked casually.
Lina lets out a sigh of relief as she leads J through the castle to the training ground— an open field where dust swirls with every movement. The sharp chime of steel rings out as blades clash midair, followed by a heavy thud.
"You never change, do you now?" J said, Extending his hand to Haruto on the ground, helping him get up.
"Finally woken up have you? You sleepyhead." Haruto said, grasping J's hand.
"Maybe. But don't you have the decency to visit an unconscious friend?"
Haruto smirked. "For a friend, sure. But for a rival? Not so much."
He leaned in slightly. "Anyway, do you know what's your power is? It seemed ridiculously overpowered. You lucky bastard."
"Sir Haruto, how about we call it a day for today?" The soldier said.
"Huh, why? I'm pretty sure I could at least one more round."
"No, sir you can't. You have been training for hours nonstop, you should rest."
"As you say master Shin,"
J slaps Haruto on the back, his tone little friendly and mocking. "You brain-dead zombie, do you plan on killing that demon alone?"
"Maybe, maybe not, who knows? Hey you didn't answer my question." Haruto retaliated.
J raised his hand in front of him, saying, "Can't it wait?"
Haruto punches J in the stomach, "That's the payback from earlier and for your question no it can't."
"Ouch! That hurts." J said holding his stomach groaning in pain.
"Yeah yeah, whatever you say, now spill the beans already." Haruto said while cleaning his ears.
"My powers is dark magic. And according to Lina over there, I can also summon a beast or whatever." J said, with a smirk.
"Hey! It isn't fair, how come we get normal powers and you get powers similar to the demon-level stuff?!"
"Because I'm not a loser like you and Star." J said mockingly
"Yeah, says the guy who can't withstand his own powers."
J turns toward Lina, his hands in his pockets. "Anyway, Lina, do you have anything for us to do? I mean, we aren't starting training today or anything, right?"
"Yes, I was hoping to introduce you to your mentors and start your training tomorrow."
"So, what would we do until then?" J asked
"If you are interested, you can visit the Royal Capital, and I can lend you some silver and gold."
Haruto wraps his arm around J's shoulder. "That sounds fun, doesn't it? Let's get Nita and Star too."
"Yeah, you do that, I will be waiting here."
"I'll be right back, so don't try anything stupid to poor Lina, okay?" Haruto teasingly said as he rushed to get Nita and Star.
"Geez! Why does everyone think I'm some kind of womanizer?" J sighed.
"So, Lina can I ask you something?"
"What is it Sir J?" Lina spoke in a sweet voice
"How much is a gold, silver, and a copper coin worth? What can we buy with them?"
"Right, I should explain that. You can buy a bread with three copper coins, the cheapest; a silver coin is worth a thousand copper coins, and a gold coin is worth a thousand silver coins. And I will be giving you eight gold coins and a hundred silver coins. That should be enough, shouldn't it?"
J raised his hands. "Woah! Stop that. Do you even know how much money it is?"
Lina tilts her head. "Why, is it not enough? If so, I can give you more."
"No, it is, but don't you realize how much money that is? That's way too much for four of us. Just four gold coins should be enough."
"That's little but pocket change. So, I don't understand why you're you overreacting."
J shook his head. "A typical princess, I see."
"What?"
"Nothing, let's just wait, okay."
"As you wish sir J. I will call a servant to get the money for you." Lina said with a small smile.
"Do whatever you want but can you please stop calling me sir?"
With a troubled face Lina looked at J, swiping her hand. "H-how could I? I can't be disrespectful towards the heroes, can I?"
"Geez! Would you chill out for a minute? I mean, we are friends by now, aren't we? So, I don't see any reason for formalities."
Lina stuttered "F-friends?! Sir J, I'm sorry, but I'm not worthy of such honor."
J lightly hit Lina on the head. "Are you dense or something? I said we are friends, meaning we are friends, that's it. There is no reason for you to question it."
Lina rubbed her head. "Ouch! Sir J, what was that for?"
J stared at Lina, raising his hand ready to hit her again.
"Sorry, sorry, it's J only J. Please don't hit me," Lina said sheepishly.
"It wasn't that hard, was it?" J laughed.
Lina pouted, rubbing the spot where J hit her "I guess, but did you really needed to hit me?"
J crossed his arm, grinning. "It worked, didn't it?"
Lina huffed. "Sir— sorry it's J, I will just go and tell the servant to get the money until then, can you wait?"
"No, problemo." J gives a thumbs up, leaning against a nearby pillar.
Lina waved her hand, turning around and walking away, leaving J all alone.
As she walked away, Lina murmured to herself, "Who does he think he is? Hitting me on the head, when nobody dares to yell at me."
After some time, Haruto returned to the training ground with Nita and Star. Lina followed closely behind, accompanied by a servant carrying a tray. On the tray rested a red bag, secured with golden ropes.
Nita crouched beside J and tapped his shoulder, her voice teasing, "Wakey, wakey, you sleepyhead."
J groaned, shifting slightly but refusing to open his eyes, "Just a few more minutes…"
Star rubbed her hand together, a smirk on her face. "Nita, move aside, let me do it."
"Umm… okay," Nita said as she stepped back.
Then Star got close to J and pinched his nose shut. As he struggled to breathe, his body jerked frantically, his eyes burst open in panic.
J swatted away Star's hand as he gasped for air. "Starrr! Are you planning to kill me or something?" he grumbled, his tone cranky.
"I wish," Star teased "But honestly, it's more fun to watch you suffer,"
"Whatever. Like I care what amuses you."
Star wiped away fake tears. "Ouch~ How cruel of you, brother," She flickered her hand dismissively. "Anyway, you wanted to visit the royal capital, right? Then what's the holdup for?"
"Speak of the devil, there she is."
Lina stomped on the ground pouting. "J! You take that back now."
Everyone was shocked at Lina's informal tone.
Nita got close to Lina, tilting her head. "Lina did you just called him J, without the sir?"
"Yes, Mrs. Nita, I did called him J. Sorry if it sounded rude but J, insisted I drop all formalities around him."
With a smirk J said "Insisted or beat it into you?"
"Y-you shut up here take your money and go already." Lina handed over the red bag and hurried off to the castle.
"Welp, we got what we are waiting for, so let's go."
But J only got a cold stares from the others.
"J didn't I told you not to try anything funny." Haruto said.
J moved his shoulder slightly "What? I didn't do anything."
Nita walked towards J their faces just inches away. "JJJ! Don't lie to us, just tell me what you did to Lina and I will let it slide." She said in a serious tone.
J stepped back looking away. "I swear I didn't do anything." J looked at Nita, her stare cold. "Okay okay, I did hit her once, because she was being too formal and thinking highly of me."
"But it doesn't mean you can hit her. You did the same to me when I first met you and was to shy." Nita said as she shook her head
"I mean it worked, didn't it? And I hit her lightly."
"It doesn't matter if it did. You'll apologize to her when we return, okay."
"Okay okay, I get it I shouldn't have done it. I will apologize to her later."
Star places her hand on Nita's shoulder "Nita let it go would you? You know how J is right? He will apologize given enough time, for now let's go to the Royal Capital and explore."
"Star is right. Let's go, the Royal Capital is waiting for us." Haruto said
"Okay if you guys say so, I'll let him go off the hook for now." Nita sighed
As they left the castle, they wandered through the bustling streets of the royal capital. Its great architecture shined under the raising sun. Suddenly Haruto stopped in his tracks.
"Hey, Haruto, why'd you stop?" J asked, raising an eyebrow.
"How about we split up into two groups? That way we can cover more ground." Haruto said, gas he glanced around .
Star's eyes glimmered with mischief, saying. "Why not, it will be fun. How about Nita and J explore to the north and east sides. While you and I explore the west and south sides."
Nita nodded. "That sounds great. Let's meet back here in two hours okay."
"Can do." Haruto said with a smile.
A small blush formed on J's face. "I don't agree with this."
Nita grinned, she grabbed J's arm pulling him closer. "Well too bad, you are stuck with me today."
"Ugh, whatever just stop pulling me already. I have to split the money before we split up, don't I?" J rolled his eyes.
J handed Haruto and Star four gold and fifty silver coins, giving a quick rundown on their values before splitting up, as a set of emerald eyes watched from the shadows. As J and Nita explored the north and east side of the Royal capital, Nita spotted a jewelry shop.
Excitement glimmered in Nita's eyes as she drags J towards it. "Hey J let's check out that shop."
"Geez, would you please stop dragging me. Just because I lov—"
Nita playfully tilts her head. "What?!"
J avoided Nita's gaze, a blush on his face. "I said you don't have to drag me everywhere."
"I have to, because you are too slowww." Nita said.
J rolled his eyes. "Whatever let's just go."
Nita slides the door open as the bell rangs, and J follows her close behind. Its golden lamps cast a warm glow, reflecting off the well-organized jewelries. Chatter of the customers and shopkeepers filled the air.
The shopkeeper gives them a seat and says. "Welcome, heroes! What brings you two here?"
J furrows his eyebrows. "How do you know about us?"
"A merchant has his ways," the shopkeeper said with a smirk.
"Whatever, like I care," J shrugged.
"It's nice to meet you, Mr. Shopkeeper! I'm Nita and this is J. Sorry if he is rude. Anyway, can you show me some rings?" Nita said with a smile
The shopkeeper chuckles, shaking his head. "No, it's okay and I have the right set of rings for you two love birds."
J's face blushed red, almost falling from his seat. "W-what are you talking about. W-we are nothing like that we are just friends."
Nita pouts, as she murmurs. "Am I really just a friend to him? I thought we had gotten closer than that."
"What did you say, I couldn't make it out?" J asked.
Nita points towards a ring "I said I wanted that ring."
The shopkeeper brought out the rings, a sly smirk on his face. "Here you go, these are in a set so, you'll have to buy these together. Before you ask their price, they will be hundred gold."
J's eyes widens. "HUNDRED GOLD!!! You are joking right? I mean they don't look that good either."
The shopkeeper pressed his hands together. "Dear Sir, please calm down. These rings have a special effect—they let the users communicate telepathically by tapping them three times. But I can give them to you for free."
J narrowed his eyes. "Spill the beans, what's the catch?"
The shopkeeper smiles "Sir, you are so sharp it's amazing." The shopkeeper handed the rings to J and Nita, a sly smile on his face "I'll give them for free— if you put the rings on each other."
A blush formed on J's face. "W-what!" J sighs. "Heck if I care, but only if she is willing to."
"Nita please… say no." J thinks to himself
Nita's face turned crimson, her voice barely above a whisper "I— I don't mind."
J's mind feels like it's about to explode; he can't even think straight. It's as if his body is moving on its own. He slowly puts the ring on her index finger and she does the same. It looks like smoke is coming out of their heads, as they avoid each other's gaze.
"Now tell me what you got from that?" J demanded .
The shopkeeper rested his head on his hand. "A break from my boring life and amusement."
"Whatever, we're leaving. Take good care, I guess." J grabbed Nita's hand, rushing out of the shop without looking back.
They walked through the streets, an awkward silence hanging between them. For hours, they wandered from shop to shop, picking out clothes for themselves. Now, exhausted from their shopping spree, they sat on a bench, catching their breath.
"You know something, J?" Nita tilted her head. "You are really cute and childish"
J blushes, "What?! Where did that come from?" than he stands up scratching his head, he said. "W-whatever. Let's just go back, it's almost time."
Nita pouts playfully as stood up. "Why aren't you a little bit curious, about why I said that?"
"You talk too much, let's go already." J hurries off carrying all the shopping bags.
"Hey, wait for meeeeeeee!" Nita runs after J.
After sometime J and Nita meet up with.
Haruto and Star. They are gasping for air, after all that running.
Haruto slaps J on the back. "Bro, did you robbed the cloth store or something?"
J straightened himself still grasping for air. "Of course not."
Star crosses her arms as noticed the rings on their hands, in a teasing tone she said. "Seriously you got engaged within two hours! What's next, marriage in three hours?"
Nita's and J's faces flushed red; Nita shook her hands frantically, and J looked around.
"Of course not you idiot, besides we aren't old enough to get engaged." J scratched his head.
A sly smile on Haruto's face as he points towards the rings. "Then how do you explain that? Because to me it seems like engagement rings."
Nita stuttered with her words, her cheeks turned red. "I—I wanted these ring and we didn't have enough money. But the
shopkeeper offered it for free on the condition that we put the rings on each other's fingers."
"And why did you needed that specific ring may ask?" Star taunted
"Because it allows us to communicate unlike our smartphones which are dead." J said in a cranky tone. "Let's just go back to the castle already, I'm too tired to bicker with you two idiots." as he said that he started walking away.
"Running from the truth again huh?" Star said, shrugging away as they head back to the castle.
Lillian, who was spying on J and his friend from afar, returns to Aurora Vale to make her report.
"Where is he?!" Lillian said as she searched for Noctis.
She bumps into Okita, "Ouch!" Lillian said as she covered her nose.
"Can't you walk with your eyes open for once." Okita said.
"Hey! Why are you are the one scolding me when I am older than you?" Lillian said, pouting.
Okita rolled her eyes, "Because I am not childish unlike you. Anyway, why are you here? Aren't you supposed to be spying on the heroes?"
"First of I'm not childish, second of all I am here on business with Noctis." Lillian said, crossing her arms.
"Like what, confessing your feelings or something?" Okita said teasingly.
Lillian blushed, stepping back. "Of course not, not yet, atleast. I'm here to make my report on the heroes so where is he?"
Okita shook her head. "No, I haven't, but, he is probably in the cellar punishing the new criminals."
Lilian puts a finger on her chin. "Now that you mentioned it, I've never been to the cellar before. Let's go there, give my report and check out the cellar for myself."
Okita looks away, avoiding eye contact. "It's better if we don't go there."
Lillian tilts her head. "Huh, what do you mean by that?"
Okita wraps her hands around herself, shaking. "I'm saying we shouldn't go there, it's an unsightly place, especially when Noctis is there. HE IS MERCILESS."
Lillian pets Okita on her back. "Hey! Why are you so scared?" Her voice is soft and firm. "You know that there is nothing to fear when Noctis is around, right? He can fix everything, he always does."
Okita is still shaking. "Maybe, but he can't fix his form of justice."
Lillian tilts her head, "I don't understand what you are on about. I mean, Noctis only punishes those who deserve it. So, I don't see what's wrong with that."
Okita was a little calmer now, but her legs were still shaking. "It isn't a matter of who he punishes, it's a matter of how he punishes them; it's brutal."
Lillian, with a smile, comforts her. "Please take a deep breath and stop panicking. Besides, I don't think he is capable of such things."
Okita takes a deep breath, which helps her to calm down. "You do know that, he once destroyed Aurora Vale, right?" She asked Lillian, narrowing her eyes.
"Of course, I know and I'm sure that he had his reason."
Okita said with a faint smile, she said. "Maybe, maybe not, but it's also true that he is kind and helped people like us and given us a place to call home, but still, it doesn't mean we should forget what he is capable of."
Lillian nods. "You are right, but to me, he is everything; he saved me, fed me, took care of me, and helped me grow into the person I'm today. If he didn't save me that day, I would've been dead a long time ago, and that's why I owe everything to him."
A sudden clapping sound came from behind them.
It's Noctis with his never-fading smile, he pet's Okita's head. "Oh, Okita, do you know how childish you look right now. It's okay to be afraid, but don't let that fear control you, okay."
Noctis spreads his arms "If you want, you can let out all of your frustration on me as usual. And as for you Liillian, thanks for saying all those words, it means a lot to me, but not as much as you."
Lillian smiles at him and says, "It was my pleasure."
A sweatdrop formed on Okita's face as she turned around. "D-did you hear everything we spoke of?" she asked.
Noctis smiled. "Of course, I didn't. So, don't worry about it." Noctis turned, gesturing his hand. "For now come to the throne room, we will talk there."
They go back to the throne room, moving through the eerie hallway, the sunlight poured through the tinted glass lighting it.
Once inside, Noctis sat on his throne, his expression calm and commanding. "Okita, let's start with you. how was your mission? Any casualties? If so, we would need to answer their families."
Okita's Confidence echoed in her voice, "No, none. Everyone in my squad are safe and the mission was a successful."
Noctis crosses his legs and nodded. "Great. I'll ask for your wish after I get Lillian's report."
Okita nods, stepping back as Lillian steps forward, her hands behind her back. "Well I got some information on the white-haired boy, that I think you'll love. It looks like he is in love with the blond-haired girl or at least really attached to her."
Noctis, with a sly smile, says, "It is just great. I can use this to my advantage."
Noctis pressed his hand together, "Okita, here is your next mission. I am sure in a few weeks, they will go to Karagami village to destroy the goblins and save the captives… Your job will be making that girl overuse her mana."
Okita swipes her hand, her voice sharp. "Bu-but it will cause her to fall into a coma, and didn't you said you want all of the heroes to be safe?"
Noctis's smile didn't fade for once. "I know what will happen and I want it to happen. And don't worry, I have the cure. So, the only thing you have to do is do as I say, nothing more, nothing less, do you understand me?"
Okita looks down, thinking to herself, "Can't he find a better way? Not like what I say will change anything. He is too stubborn to listen."
Okita replies to Noctis with a simple yes.
Lillian's eye widens and she says to Noctis. "Noctis! You shouldn't use such underhanded tactics."
Noctis's voice now more serious, saying. "Lillian you are still too naïve aren't you? In war and love everything is fair. And I am a person who will do anything to accomplish my goals."
Lillian's eyes are filled with tears all of a sudden. "Anything, even sacrificing us?"
Noctis gives a reassuring smile. "What kind of silly question is that? You two mean the world to me. I would never sacrifice you for my goals, if I've to I'll give up on my goals for you. And please smile, it suits your beautiful face more. So Lillian, you love sweets right? Do you want some?"
"No, it's okay I'm just glad we mean so much to you." Lillian said in a soft voice.
Okita wipes Lillian's tears, helping her calm down. Then Okita demands to Noctis, "I want my wish to be granted."
Noctis smiled "Of course what is it?"
Okita in a serious tone, she is almost unrecognizable "I want you to open the walls of Aurora Vale, the people deserve to explore the outside world."
Noctis instantly says "No. They can visit the kingdoms and lands we conquered."
Okita swipes her hand "But why, don't the people of Aurora Vale deserve to see the world?"
Noctis gets up from his throne and says, "Yes, they do. But it isn't the right time, if they're to go out now, they'll be discriminated against, they will be enslaved, they will be looked down upon and those humans will take advantage of them. I can't let that happen."
Okita clenches her fist, gridding her teeth "Why did I even brother to ask again?"
Lillian raises a hand says, "Hey Noctis, it is my turn to ask for a wish."
Noctis "Of course, what is it?"
Lillian thinks for a while and says "I want you to promise that after you achieve your goals you will stay by my side okay? Oh, is there any other mission for me?"
Noctis smiles "Of course if I am alive until then, I'll. And I will tell you when I need you, for now just spy on him."
Lillian smiles, "That's good enough I guess. So I will be going now."
Noctis waves at her as she disappeared in the shadows.
Then Noctis talks to Okita, his tone is serious. "Okita, you know that you aren't supposed to tell Lillian about the cellar, and she is the only reason we have a completely different prison in this castle right? Do you know why you aren't supposed to tell her?"
Okita shook her head. "Yes, but why must she be in the dark of the cellar and your other side?"
Noctis's voice is firm. "The moment she learned to talk and run, she was enslaved and her parents were killed. For next twenty years she was abused and mistreated, there wasn't anything those disgusting noble didn't try. Even though she is much better now, her trauma can still come back. So, as a leader I'm asking you not to bring up ever again."
Noctis's words sent shivers down her spine as Okita spoke in a shaky voice. "I… I didn't know… I'm sorry for bringing it up Infront of her, but why didn't you tell me this sooner? And was she really able to forget everything that happened to her?"
Noctis teleports in front of Okita, he pets her head and gives a comforting smile. "Because I thought you'd keep your mouth shut, but it seems like I was wrong. As for if she had forgotten about what happened to her yes, I used an old spell to make her forget about it, but she still has some of memories. So don't worry your little head."
Noctis pulls out silver colored sword with black edges and shows it to Okita. "Didn't you wanted a new sword? I got it, I'm aware that it took some time but here you go."
Okita swipes the sword away quickly and turned around, her hands still trembling. "If you ever make Lillian cry I'll kill you."
Noctis puts his hand on her shoulder. "As you wish."
Okita leaves the throne room, returning to her position. Noctis is left in his throne room alone. It seems as though he wants to be alone. Lightly numbing on his finger how he used to do with his father. The time seems to fly when he is alone as it turns day to night, what seems like in minutes.
