The next day, Cathy Jones was called to the company.
Her contract was nearing its end, and she had no intention of renewing it.
As soon as she stepped into the lobby, Ada, an artist from the same agency, walked over with a gloating smile. "Well, if it isn't our little dimple queen. What happened to your eyes, been crying all night?"
News that her boyfriend had been stolen was already common knowledge at the company. Cathy couldn't be bothered to respond. She sidestepped Ada and prepared to leave.
But Ada wasn't about to let her go that easily. She reached out and blocked her path. "Come on, we're good sisters, let's have a little chat. With a temper like yours, no wonder your boyfriend of five years dumped you for some rich heiress."
Cathy's temper snapped. "Ada, did you eat shit this morning? Your mouth reeks."
