Dan's mother held a bottle of alcohol in her hand, her mind warped from the effects of drinking.
She glared at Dan, taking a step forward, until the bottle in her hand fell.
"Huh?" She said, looking at the shards of broken glass and her sock soaking with drink.
"You!" She pointed at Dan. "You caused this!"
Dan laid on the floor frozen, shock washing over him as his senses sharpened.
The world felt slow; each step his mother took was heavy.

"Haha." A laugh escaped his mouth.
"This… is this meant to scare me?" he suddenly yelled.
He rose to his feet and glared upward, as if challenging the unseen figure looming above.
"You thought this was scarier than the last?
"Hahahahaha!
"This is just an opportunity!"
His senses told him this dream was meant to overwhelm him.

He looked at his mother.
She seemed oblivious to his actions, goal-focused.
