"Luna, I'm fine." Melody Parker looked at Serena Sterling, her face brightening with a radiant smile, "Without them, haven't I been living better and more splendidly? I don't need them now, having Benjamin by my side is enough."
"Yes, Benjamin is truly a good and sensible child! I'm so envious as a godmother!"
Serena laughed charmingly, saying she was envious, but there wasn't a hint of envy on her face, only happiness for her friend.
Suddenly recalling something, Serena looked at Melody and asked, "By the way, Melody, do you know that Ava Parker is now a popular movie star?"
Melody shook her head, "I didn't know."
All these years she had been working hard abroad, never paying attention to news from back home, let alone any member of the Parker family.
They weren't worth her attention at all.
