Nan Wan kept her head down but, rather pathetically, wrapped her arms around the man's neck again. Still keeping her head down, she asked sullenly, "You're not helping me pull out my shoe; where are we going?"
Although she was tall for a girl, she was quite slender and light. Mu Jin Huan felt no burden at all holding her in his arms.
He continued striding toward the car, his voice low, "Buy a new pair, then go eat."
Straightforward.
Nan Wan was speechless, "You could just pull out the heel for me."
"Don't want to."
Nan Wan, "..."
As she was placed in the passenger seat, Nan Wan closed her eyes, suppressed her irritation, and tried speaking in a relatively calm tone, "Then I don't want to go eat."
The car was quiet and warm; even barefoot, she didn't feel cold.
"Still don't get it?" Mu Jin Huan closed the car door, leaned over to fasten her seatbelt, and said unhurriedly, "Making you owe me."
Nan Wan furrowed her brows, sitting motionless in the passenger seat.
