Four days had passed.
A horse-drawn carriage raced swiftly toward the Beelzebub Kingdom. Inside, Feyar fiddled with an arrow, a smirk playing on his lips.
"So, Feyar, the plan is to infiltrate the largest underground auction? With its notoriously tight security?"
Before he could answer, Feyar suddenly cut in, his eyes narrowing meaningfully. "First, I have a question—why didn't you bring any troops from Belphegor, Leon?"
Leon gave a faint smile. "Because I prefer working with a few trusted individuals."
"So, about the plan—"
Before Feyar could respond, the carriage jerked to a sudden halt.
"Step out! Inspection!" shouted a gate guard.
Leon, unwilling to reveal his identity, pulled his hood over his face. But just as they passed through the gate after the inspection—
WHOOSH!
They were abruptly flung into a vast desert, surrounded by hundreds of armed soldiers.
As they stepped out of the carriage, they were met by an overwhelming force—led by a figure all too familiar to Leon.
"HAHAHA! So it's just trash like Leon, who I thought was long dead! Still alive and the one I have to deal with!"
Dyno Beelzebub, the Second Prince of the Beelzebub Kingdom, stood at the front lines, his flaming sword gleaming. His crimson hair billowed like hellfire.
"Remember how you used to cry when I beat you in front of the other demons? Still remember that?"
Leon bit his lip until it bled. But what shocked him most—
"My apologies, Your Highness Dyno. I had no idea you two knew each other," Feyar suddenly said, walking toward Dyno with his two subordinates.
Leon let out a cold laugh. "I knew from the start you were a traitor, Feyar."
[FLASHBACK – Five Days Ago]
While walking, Leon had spotted Feyar leaving King Aerion's chambers with a fearful expression.
Suspicious, Leon investigated the king's room—only to find King Aerion murdered, a poisoned dagger wound in his chest.
Leon reported this to Demon King Zephyr, who ordered him to play ignorant to uncover Feyar's true plans.
[FLASHBACK ENDS – Back to the Present]
"I never imagined you'd collude with the Beelzebub Kingdom for such a vile scheme, Feyar."
Before Feyar could respond, Leon vanished—reappearing in front of Dyno and delivering a devastating punch to his gut, sending the prince flying.
A swift kick to Feyar's head knocked him unconscious instantly.
Dyno staggered up, his face bloodied. "IMPOSSIBLE! YOU—"
He ordered the attack, but—
A spatial rift tore open. Valker emerged with his sword, followed by the rest of Leon's dark troops. Dyno's shock was palpable as the reinforcements arrived.
Leon commanded his army to attack. Three minutes later, the battlefield was littered with corpses, blood soaking the crimson sand.
TING! A notification window appeared.
[NOTIFICATION] LEVEL UP! x20
[NOTIFICATION] LEON'S LEVEL: 35 → 55
TING! The window closed.
Leon then raised the fallen enemies as undead, swelling his forces further.
He strode toward Dyno, who stood frozen in fear—until a card shot toward Leon.
Leon blocked it, but the sheer force sent him flying.
A mysterious figure appeared, grabbing Dyno and teleporting away before Leon could react.
Realizing the attacker's overwhelming power, Leon felt relieved he didn't have to fight them.
Suddenly, Fenrith contacted him.
"Report, Master!" Fenrith's voice crackled. The Belphegor Kingdom is under attack by a combined force from Beelzebub and Leviathan… and they're being aided by the Angel Race!"
"The Angel Race?"
"Demon King Zephyr is fighting a mysterious figure… and Prince Raiden is battling two Leviathan Princes alone!"
Leon used Fenrith's vision to survey the half-destroyed palace.
White-winged soldiers slaughtered demon warriors, while a golden-robed figure hovered above the ruins.
Leon gritted his teeth until they bled. "Sylvaine…!"
"Alright, we move out. NOW!"
A massive dimensional rift opened as Leon's dark legion charged through, heading straight for the battlefield.
In the distance, the golden-robed figure suddenly turned—as if sensing Leon's arrival.
