Stepping into the hall, I looked around. There weren't many people here, just the most senior members of the league, Laurel and Thea. I leaned against the wall nearby and watched the proceedings, sipping my wine.
After a few minutes, the girl was slowly lowered into the Lazarus Pit. The foul odor was really hitting my nose, so I desensitized my senses a little. Sarah is certainly pretty, but after seeing her in this state, I don't know how I'd react, to her normal appearance. Yeah, this whole resurrection thing is a bunch of crap... As I recall, even after being resurrected and getting her soul back, she was aggressive. So using the resurrection pit in the future will be very rare, only on special occasions.
The ritual went exactly as I remembered. She was lowered into the water, and just that second I heard the faint sound of her heartbeat. The area around the pit trembled slightly, but the people around didn't notice. The beating of her heart gradually intensified. And after a few seconds, she jumped out of the water, pouncing on the first person she saw. It didn't last long, she was neutralized by Merlin. Watching all of this, Nissa got upset and quickly went to her room. Laurel wasn't too happy either, but from the look in her eyes she didn't regret her decision. Well, I was frankly bored... Maybe I should have stopped Merlin. Yes, watching a woman fight is quite a treat. The skills of the Ligovians are not bad, it's a pity they're useless to me. Human martial arts have become too primitive. That's why I had to develop a new style just for me. Well, I'm going to go have a chat with Nyssa...

When I entered the girl's chambers, I saw her immediately. Nyssa was sitting on the bed, hugging her knees, staring sadly ahead. She wasn't even paying attention to me, even though she'd noticed me. I didn't beat around the bush and said:
«Don't worry, she'll be fine, just leave it to Quinn. - even though I already told her that, but I guess I should say it again. The pit can't get hurt.
Looking at me, Nissa said:
«Don't worry, I'm not gonna do anything. It's just, uh. Seeing her like this is a little hard.
«Just wait, pretty soon you'll see a normal Sarah. Of course her lust for killing will remain, but in time that can be controlled. She's strong, she can handle it, you should know that.
Nyssa smiled:
«It's true, she can definitely handle it.
«Well, that's great. - I turned around and decided to leave, but I was stopped....
«Hunter. - I turned and looked at the girl questioningly. Nyssa looked away and whispered: - Thank you.
I hummed and finally left, closing the door behind me. It seemed to be done, and the pit should be safe. I'd done everything I could. Sure I could have killed Nissa and cut out the league, but I think that's overkill. I already got rid of that vial of liquid to freeze the pit with. Of course, I didn't smash it, I just hid it. But it may not be the only one, so I'm not entirely sure about the safety of the pit. Well, if something happens, there's nothing you can do about it. It's not in my nature to be afraid. Where there's one pit, there's two. There may be more in this world, and if there aren't, there are other worlds.
At these thoughts, I quietly left the league building and walked quickly back to the plane. The pilot was still waiting; he had been instructed to wait no more than five days. Climbing aboard, we took off quickly and headed for Central City.
Looks like Laurel and Thea will have to find other transportation. Not my problem, though. You shouldn't have messed with me in the first place. Merlin will figure something out, and I don't have time for this. It's time to go home.

Somewhere in Star City.
On the roof of an apartment building, several people were gathered. On one side were five people. A dark-skinned woman in a strict suit, several armed soldiers, and another girl. Opposite them stood only three people. Oliver Queen, John Deagle and the newly arrived Barry Allen. They were similarly in their gear and eyed the woman in front of them warily. They all knew who she was, only Barry was seeing her for the first time. Diggle was more or less calm, since his wife was nearby and she was the one who had called them all here. If they had all been called, something serious must have happened.
When Barry arrived, Waller finally nodded and spoke:
«So you're here, all right.
Quin frowned:
«What do you want, Waller? Why did you call Flash?
The woman smiled enigmatically and said:
«We have a common problem, that's why he's here.
«Problem? What kind of problem? - Barry was surprised.
«Hunter Greene, Hunger to be exact. - When Waller said that name, everyone's faces turned serious. Oliver knew immediately what Amanda meant. He had long feared the threat of this man. He was far more dangerous than Darhk, and even if he'd teamed up with Slade, they were less of a threat than Famine. He wasn't dangerous because he killed people and ate them, he was dangerous because of his strength and character. He wasn't like Barry, a naive and simple guy. Hunger could kill anyone and take whatever he wanted. Having only met him once, Oliver knew for sure, this man was best not to be trifled with. If Waller brought up the problem, then that meant only one thing...
«Do you want to eliminate him? - Quin asked immediately.
Waller grinned:
«Not exactly, more like keeping us all safe. As you already know, his strength is not something ARGUS can handle, perhaps not even the strength of the two of you. But we can't just sit back and wait for him to come after us. - Turning her gaze to Barry, Waller asked: - Mr.... Flash, you already know what he does to meth people, don't you? - After a nod from Barry, Amanda continued: - So you do realize that one day, he might come after you too? - Without waiting for Barry's answer, Amanda looked at everyone and continued:
«People like him have no values, he is only interested in power and strength. You can see it in his actions. He's growing in power, and his company is growing aggressively. I'm pretty sure if we keep it that way, pretty soon, he'll take you Flash. Your power would certainly be coveted by such a man. And Palmer Technology? I doubt he'll leave it alone. He wants it all, and if we don't stop him, he'll succeed. That's why I'm here.
