Yu Xuan stared at her and, although his face didn't come out as straight up angry, his eyes kept twitching and his mouth formed an unsettling smile.
Yue Fang gulped, she might as well be a dead woman.
"Hmmm… I think that there might be a misunderstanding here. I didn't do anything on purpose…"
Yu Xuan took a look at Ming Shan, she had a big bump on her head and a bit of blood flowed from her forehead.
"Oh, so you hurt your shimei accidentally again? How clumsy you are and how unlucky she must be."
He grabbed Ming Shan on the shoulder and pushed her closer to him, however, she actually seemed uncomfortable from his action and pushed him away, visibly annoyed.
"I told you to stop doing that, you know I don't like it!"
Yu Xuan looked at her, a bit angry and confused.
"You used to like it before and you just hugged me a few seconds ago, how can I not do that?"
She rolled her eyes.
"This has nothing to do with this! Things are different!"
"How can it be different? I do so much yet you look so distant these few days! You almost seem like a different person! Besides I'm the one saving you."
Ming Shan frowned.
" Urgh, let's not have this conversation right now, we can talk about it later."
He sighed and focused his attention back to Yue Fang, who was trying to escape from the window while they were quarreling.
"Hey! Where do you think you are going? We are not finished!"
Yue Fang froze on the spot, slowly turning her head to face them again.
"Hmmm… No, it's fine. I can give you guys some space, I'm just getting in the way really hahaha…"
Yu Xuan took some steps and got closer to Yue Fang. When his face was just about 10 centimeters from hers, he said:
"You better start explaining now why Ming Shan is bleeding on her forehead. If you don't give me an reasonable enough answer, forget the thought of breathing again cuz you'll be fucking dead!"
Yue Fang slowly climbed down the window, unable to think of a good explanation.
She thought: "I can't say that a video game text box was controlling my body… and I'm really not smart enough to come up with a good answer."
"Well?" he said, "Aren't you gonna say anything?"
Camila was still a bit reluctant, but still broke her silence.
"hmmmm… I don't know if I can say it, it's quite embarrassing actually."
Yu Xuan's mouth twitched.
"Well, I don't care about that! If you are tired of making excuses, I'll just take care of you now then."
He grabbed the sword on his hilt and rapidly charged downwards towards Yue Fang.
She was, however, surprisingly fast enough to dodge it to the side. She threw herself and rolled on the floor, falling head first, quite a striking image for a young lady.
The sword fell hard and broke the floor beside it. This could have been Yue Fang if she was just a few seconds late.
"W-Wait!! Are you really going to attack a girl?!" She said, "Aren't you afraid of being charged with my murder?!"
He grabbed his sword back and rested it on his shoulder.
"First, you can't even be counted as a girl, you are a snake. Second, I can just say that you were attacked by a revengeful spirit and killed. We would have all tried to save you, but it was SADLY too late. In the end, we managed to exorcise it, but we would grieve from the loss of a very uh… good friend."
Yue Fang looked at him, then at Ming Shan, whose eyes were wide open.
"Aren't you gonna say anything??!"
Ming Shan took a step behind.
"Uhh… Yeah… I think that's enough, shixiong. We've scared her sufficiently, there's no need to go that far."

Ming Shan stayed silent, she also wasn't able to counter attack such logic.
"If there's no more opposition, then I'll just go back to what I was doing."
He went straight to Yue Fang, who was still lying on the floor, defenseless, kicking her right in the leg. She groaned and tried to crawl away, but he stepped on her skirt and was just about to hit her again, this time aiming at the head.
She grabbed a silver plate that was lying from the side with some incense and other offerings and used to block the attack.

Yue Fang immediately cut him.
"A hundred percent serious! I'd never do anything to my junior!"

Yue Fang immediately said:
"Of course not! If I wanted to hurt her, why wouldn't I just punch her in the face? Why use my head? I'm already too dumb as it is! It would have been much less painful and more efficient for me if I had used my fists!"
She then proceeded to point at her bump in the head.
"See? I'm also bleeding on the forehead! I don't doubt that this is one of the most ugly and disgusting looking injuries you have ever seen. Why would I do that to myself if I wanted to hurt her?"
Yu Xuan now seemed more confused than ever.
"How would I know?! You are fucking crazy! Is there really any reason for you to do stuff besides your crazy obsession with me?!"
Yue Fang adjusted herself to sit and rest her back on a pillar behind her. Although quite hurt, she still tried to convey an innocent demeanor.
"Oh sweetie, you are right, I am crazy for you! So why would I ruin my appearance? How would I be able to present myself in front of you like this? You are definitely overthinking it."
Yu Xuan took a step back, face pale, unable to decide if they were speaking the truth or not.
But he didn't have enough time to think it over too much, as a tall and elegant silhouette appeared outside the door.
"Shizun!" Ming Shan screamed.
