Daylan took a deep breath and let himself sink a little deeper into the darkness. He conjured small blades and activated Dark Spiral, tracking their movements through the sound of their steps on the water's surface.
Every single one who came his way was slaughtered before they even knew what hit them—all six of them.
After that, he took a few minutes to explore the cave he had blown open—but they were all gone. Deeper inside, there was a path, but it was blocked by a massive wall of ice.
"Apart from their reflexes, I don't think they have any real senses—or even a brain to think. They aren't any stronger. But if there are a lot of them, they might become a problem."
Daylan said with a sigh as he stretched his body. He had only one use of Dark Spiral left, and beyond that, he was clearly tired and hungry. With the room as enclosed as it was, he decided to rest there for the night.
He summoned his meals and supplies from his inventory, ate, and settled down to rest.
