Chapter 5 - Ch 5

'I think I should leave for now.' he thought with a heavy heart, Alex gathered his things and prepared to leave, silently vowing to himself that he would try to find a way to make things right between himself and Mira.

"See you in the evening." he said and leave with smile before turning and exiting the room.

....

Tenjo Luz Academy, is counted as one of the top 10 College in light kingdom.

It has garnered a widespread reputation as one of the most prestigious educational institutions in the Light Kingdom, celebrated for its unparalleled range of facilities and amenities that cater to the diverse needs of its students.

With a focus on providing a comfortable and enriching college life, it has become a preferred choice among the middle class demographic, seeking a comprehensive and high-quality academic experience that is second to none.

Currently, the place was in a rush as it is the start of new year.

The campus was abuzz with a flurry of activity, with a lot of new and fresh-faced students eagerly exploring their new surroundings, eager to make their mark at the institution where they would be spending the next few formative years of their lives.

Alex was amongst one of new students joining here this year, his eyes scanning the surroundings with an air of indifference and with almost zero interest in his eyes.

'This place is not bad to pass time, I guess.'

He thought as he made his way through the bustling crowds, for him, college was more of a means to pass time as study was the least of his worries Since he already has a job and pay there is also good.

And he was also not in very good mood at the moment because of the not so good start of his day.

Who would be, if thier rod was ready to go but was drop dead. The first thing that happened with him today was becoming a cockblock!!! Dammit.

Alex was lost in thought as he approached the turn in the hallway, his mind still preoccupied with his frustration.

Suddenly, he felt a jolt as someone collided with him. Although he could have easily avoided the collision, he made no attempt to do so, letting the other person bump into him intentionally.

In the brief moment of impact, Alex's keen sense of observation registered the power and agility of the person who had bumped into him.

'He is just good, maybe above average to be precise.' Alex thought to himself, his analytical mind taking stock of the situation.

As someone who prided himself on his own physical prowess, Alex was always one of those who believe a person worth from thier physical strength.

At the same time, he couldn't help but feel a twinge of disgust at the thought of weakness.

To Alex, nothing was more abhorrent than a lack of strength or resolve. It was a trait he despised in himself, and one he was quick to judge in others.

It made him feel insecure about his future, that's why he have a bit of an favorable impression of the other party, but that changed because of ugly face of the person he clashed into.

Alex's expression shifted to one of surprise and regret as he extended his hand towards the person who had stumbled to the ground after colliding with him.

"My apologies, I was lost in thought and failed to pay attention to my surroundings," he said with some fake sincerely.

Now that Alex was able to have a good look of this person face, he concluded that he is... 'just a average student', Alex thought as it make him loose his interest in him even more.

Tom, the person who had bumped into Alex, looked up at him with a mix of surprise and gratitude. He dusted himself off and took Alex's outstretched hand, pulling himself back up to his feet.

"It's all good," Tom said, still a bit taken aback by Alex's sudden change in demeanor. "I should have been paying more attention too."

" It's alright, I also should have been more careful, you can call me alex."

" Tom, nice to meet you too."

"Well then, take care tom." Alex said, giving Tom a brief nod before continuing down the hallway.

Tom watched him go, still feeling a bit bewildered by the encounter. He somehow had a feeling they would cross paths again before long.

.....

( Alex POV )

Standing outside room no. 69, where my first lecture was about to begin, a wave of reluctance washed over me.

The thought of spending my precious time listening to something that didn't interest me made me hesitate before stepping inside.

I found it hard to justify spending my time in a lecture room listening to topics that held no interest to me, especially when surrounded by a bunch of kids.

However, since I had already made the effort to come this far, I thought that I might as well attend the lecture.

As I take a deep breath and walked into the room, I could sense a variety of gazes on me. Some were filled with interest, curiosity and shock, but I expected all of these to a certain degree before even entering.

Wait a sec.. shock, that unusual, I didn't expected this one but why would anyone be shocked here when they see me.

I glanced towards the direction of the gaze that seemed surprised after seeing me and noticed a girl who can even stood out in the crowd of dozens of not hundreds.

Her beauty was hard to ignore, and it made me wonder if I had seen her before.

As I walked towards a backbench, I tried to shake off the odd feeling that her reaction had left me with. 'Perhaps it was just my imagination playing tricks on me' I thought to try convince myself.

As I settled into a seat in the back row, I reaffirmed my decision to avoid sitting in the front row. After all, I wasn't here to study so there is no way in hell was I gonna sit in front row and anyone was welcome to claim those seats

As I settled into my seat, I couldn't help but feel a sense of frustration at the thought of having to interact with my classmates.

Despite their apparent uselessness to me, I knew I had to remember their faces and try to act like a friendly teenager.

It was a tedious task, but necessary to maintain my cover, man, this sucks. As I scanned the room, my eyes locked onto a face that seemed vaguely familiar.

It took a moment to register, but then I realized it was the same person who had clumsily bumped into me earlier that day.

I hadn't paid much attention to him at the time, dismissing him as unremarkable and unattractive, but I can still recognise him.

As I observed him more closely, I couldn't help but notice how utterly ordinary he appeared.

His brown hair was nothing special, I don't like that colour.

And his face lacked any defining features. Despite my initial dismissal of him, I couldn't shake off the feeling of uneasiness that came with seeing him again.

As if sensing my gaze, he turned to smile in my direction, confirming my suspicions that we were indeed classmates.

As he smiled at me, I felt my irritation grow. I wasn't interested in any kind of flirtation or romance, and his smiles were only serving to annoy me.

I gritted my teeth, silently cursing his obliviousness, and made a mental note to avoid any unnecessary interactions with him.

Stop passing me those smiles of yours, I swing right way goddammit!!!

And worse, all I could do is smile back towards him. This place only isn't bad, it is hell.

....

The classroom door swung open and in stepped a stunningly beautiful woman. She exuded an air of sophistication and maturity, despite her youthful appearance.

Her raven-black hair cascaded down her back in gentle waves, reaching all the way to her waist.

Her strikingly beautiful face was framed by loose tendrils of hair that teased her high cheekbones and emphasized her full, luscious lips.

But it was her eyes that truly caught everyone's attention - they were like sparkling gems, a bright, fiery red that seemed to flicker in the dimly-lit room.

She was dressed in a crisp white shirt, unbuttoned at the top to reveal a hint of cleavage, paired with a short skirt that showcased her long, toned legs.

Her black stockings added a touch of mystery, covering just enough to leave the rest to the imagination.

As she strode confidently towards the front of the room, all eyes were fixed upon her, captivated by her undeniable allure.

As the stunning woman made her way to the teacher's desk and gracefully set her books down, a hush fell over the classroom.
