The sun barely pierced through the clouds that blanketed the sky, casting the land below in a dull hue of gray. A stillness hung in the air that felt both sacred and ominous, as if the world itself held its breath for what was to come,Fear of the unknown. In the heart of Kael's camp, warriors bustled with a newfound urgency, sharpening blades, reinforcing armor, and muttering silent prayers to the moon goddess. Everyone knew that the fragile lull would soon be broken. War had always been imminent, but now it was inevitable especially since they didn't find Ronan's body.

Aria stood before the war table, fingers splayed across a newly drawn map of the terrain. Her eyes, once soft with innocence, now held the cold determination of a leader forged in fire. Beside her, Kael adjusted his armor, the tension between duty and emotion evident in his posture.
