As soon as Seunghoon logged into the game early in the morning, the system notification bombarded him.

[Name: Lee Seunghoon]

[Age: 17]

Control: B (S+)

Awareness: B (S+)

Decision Making: B+ (S+)

Speed: B+ (S+)

He stared at the list for a second.

"Hm…"

He rested his chin against his hand. His fingers tapped idly against his desk.

Speed wasn't the issue for him. With his current stats, he knew he would have no time reacting if someone unexpectedly attacked him in the game. His map awareness was also good, except for a few times when he would miss some enemy's plays here and there.

Still, that was normal.

What he needed right now was…

'Control,' he thought.

He had been adjusting to the game's rhythm lately. Even though his hands remembered most of the movement, the precision wasn't where he wanted it yet. In fights, every frame counted. Every second matters. And every miss was a lost opportunity.

He clicked the selection.

[Selected: Control]

[Attribute Upgraded: B→ B+]

As soon as it locked in, another window popped up beneath it.

[Bonus Reward Unlocked]

[Choose one piece of equipment to help with your gaming.]

– Keyboard

– Mouse

– Headset

Seunghoon stared at the options.

His current keyboard and mouse were fine. His headset, too, but it was not exactly built for long hours. The mic picked up a bit of background noise, and if he wanted to actually start streaming like he was considering, that might be a problem.

He clicked [Headset].

[Reward Confirmed: Mid-tier Gaming Headset + Condenser Mic.]

[The Reward will be shipped to the Host's address within 1 day.]

"…Thanks, I guess," Seunghoon murmured in the air.

He let the holographic screen in front of him slowly fade from his view.

Just then, a second prompt followed.

[New Mission List Loading…]

The blue interface pulsed once again with a soft chime as the next mission appeared.

[New Mission:]

- Rank Up to Legend (Current Rank: Flare IV ⭐☆☆☆)

[Reward: +1 Attribute Upgrade of your choice]

Seunghoon raised an eyebrow.

"Rank up to Legend?"

He leaned back on his chair, stretching out his arms.

"It seemed like the system wanted him to rank up as soon as possible."

His eyes drifted to the current rank flashing beside the mission.

Flare IV.

It didn't look far.

But Seunghoon knew better.

The climb to Legend wasn't as easy as ranking up in Flare. He couldn't just carry a team on his own. That would be impossible. He needed good teammates. And finding those would definitely be a pain.

Still… he didn't hate it. It's already Flare, so he knew that players were already better in this rank.

He looked down at his mouse. Then toward his computer's screen.

The interface had already minimized itself.

No dramatic fanfare. No push.

He tapped his fingers lightly against the edge of his desk.

Legend rank, huh?

He smirked.

"Alright, then."

But just as his fingers hovered over the mouse to open the game, a random thought flickered through his mind.

"…What if I stream it?"

The words left his lips before he even realized it.

It was casual. Just a random idea thrown into the quietness of his room. But when he said it, the thought struck him.

Streaming.

He leaned back into his chair and stared up at the ceiling.

Maybe it wouldn't be so bad.

He turned back to his screen and opened a tab.

He typed "Litch" into the search bar.

Within seconds, the purple homepage loaded.

The interface had banners of streamers live now, categories, and trending tags. There was even a section for "Most Watched Rise of Legends Streamers in Korea." Right at the top was a guy named JusTiceTV with 42K live viewers and a caption that read:

["Mid Gap Every Game. Let's Climb."]

"Mid gap, huh?" Seunghoon blinked.

He scrolled through the front page even more. In there were casual streamers, pro breakdowns, duo queue content, challenge streams, even a guy whose entire stream was just spectating replays and giving sarcastic commentary on them.

There was a category just for Rise of Legends. It was obvious how popular the game was.

Curious, he clicked one of the smaller streams.

The screen loaded with a guy with only 23 viewers. His mic crackled a bit. His camera was cheap. But the chat still flowed steadily, and he read almost every line aloud.

He looked at the interface and found the "Start Streaming" section.

He clicked it and it laid everything out.

All he needed was an account, a streaming key, basic settings input… and a mic.

The face cam wasn't required. It was just optional especially for new streamers.

He stared at the interface.

It was simple enough.

His new headset wouldn't arrive until tomorrow, but he could still try it.

Just for fun.

Just for him to get familiar to it.

He registered for an account with a throwaway email. Created a channel name. He used RedLive as a name. It was short and simple.

Then he clicked through the settings.

Game: Rise of Legends.

Mic: Enabled.

Camera: Off.

Overlay: Default.

He didn't even bother trying the fancy transitions. His only goal for today was to test it. To see if he could actually stream the game using his setup.

He did a quick mic test. It wasn't perfect, but it worked. As long as there were no background noises, it would be fine.

And once everything was set up, he clicked [Go Live].

The interface flashed once.

[You are now LIVE on Litch.]

He glanced at the bottom of the screen where the feed timer ticked upward.

00:00:01

00:00:18

00:00:45

[0 viewers.]

He let out a small laugh, leaned forward in his chair, and opened Rise of Legends.

"Let's see if I can do this and still play decent," he muttered.
