Selene~
"Oh, come off it, Selene. You know I had to say that so she wouldn't suspect a thing." Luca groaned.
It had been two days, two days since he left me standing in the streets and drove off with Sophia without looking back. I hadn't texted or called because he'd blocked my number and hadn't reached out.
Then, one random afternoon, he showed up at my door with a disguise so perfect that no one would've thought it was him. It was just shades, a scarf and a face mask. I let him in and he removed his disguise, then he dropped down onto my bed like he was right at home.
He didn't seem as disgusted with my apartment as he once was, and that was a sort of relief for me. I'd been trying and cleaning everyday just to make it a bit more accommodating for him and I was glad my hard work had finally paid off.
"You're angry," he said flatly, as if my annoyance meant nothing to him.
I closed the door behind me and walked over to him with my arms crossed. "What are you doing here, Luca?"
