"I have another class in ten minutes, but you can talk to me while we walk, if you want."
"Okay," she replied.
They got up and filed out of the auditorium and Jack headed towards his next class. Once the crowd cleared a bit, Robin came up next to him and grabbed his arm.
"Jack, I...I regret rejecting you back then."
"Really?" she had seemed pretty disgusted with him at the time.
"Yes. I...honestly, if my head wasn't so far up my ass at the time, I would have ignored whatever Madison told me and gone out with you anyway."
"Huh. You seemed rather disgusted with me at the time."
"I know. And maybe I'm remembering things wrong. I really wasn't in a good place back then. But now? Now that I've had a chance to review things with clearer eyes, and given Madison's confession, I really do regret rejecting you. You were the only boy that has ever asked me out. Ever."
