After putting this Sanguine Bracelet on, I looked at the options just in case there was anything off about it.
But the description of the Sanguine Bracelet was the exact same as in the game.
Even down to the minute details such as the rolled stats…
It was just like the one that I had received in the game before.
"Is it a coincidence?" I couldn't help asking myself after seeing this.
But eventually I just accepted it for what it was.
Games roll similar stats all the time and I had played this game enough that I had gotten the Sanguine Bracelet quite a few times. So it wasn't as if I had never gotten the same item twice…
It was just that these stats were the same as the last time I played this game.
Still, putting that aside, the stats were considered quite broken.
This was a legacy item from a demon king, so it was only normal that it would be broken like this.
With a smile, I raised my hand and then brought my finger up.
When I did, the blood that was left in the area suddenly fell under my control. It came up off the ground and formed a ball there in the air in front of me.
With another wave of my hand, this ball of blood broke apart and the blood that formed it started moving through the air. This blood quickly took the form of several spikes of congealed blood in the air.
These spikes of blood just floated there in the air until I flicked my finger once more.
As soon as my finger fell, the spikes of blood flew forward into the wall in front of me.
Though these spikes were made of blood, that didn't mean that they were weak. These were spikes of blood that were congealed of blood and magic after all.
Once the spikes made contact with the walls, it didn't seem like the walls were able to resist at all as holes were created in the walls. These holes weren't that big, but it was more than enough to prove the penetrative power of these blood spikes.
Though the other reason why these spikes weren't able to do more damage to the wall was because of the special nature of this place.
This was a place that Demon King Balcor had been building up over several hundred years, so the materials that these walls were made of were anything but normal. This was a place where normal attacks certainly wouldn't have had an effect.
Seeing this, I gave a satisfied nod.
However, I didn't leave this place right away.
Instead, I went to the door that Demon King Balcor had closed on me and raised the hand with the Sanguine Bracelet on it towards it. The moment that I did, I could feel a connection coming from the door.
"Grrrr."
The sound of stone grinding against each other rang out before the door that had been sealed opened up.
Though I couldn't see the end of the passage and it was quite dark, I didn't hesitate to walk down it.
It even seemed like I was taking a stroll in my own house with how comfortable I was walking down this passage.
But that was all because I knew what was in this place.
With the Sanguine Bracelet on my hand, there was nothing in this place that could hurt me anymore.
Demon King Balcor wasn't a fool, he naturally knew that all the things that he did caused people to resent him. Though in this case, it wasn't exactly people that resented him.
Rather, it was the souls of those that were sealed in this place that resented him.
If he didn't find a way to restrict them, then it was only a matter of time before they found a way to take him down. Especially since he was only a weakened fragment of his former self.
For that reason, there was a special function that was placed on the Sanguine Bracelet.
This Sanguine Bracelet was the thing that he sealed the fragment of his soul in, so he made sure that they would never be able to approach him. That meant that as long as one had the Sanguine Bracelet, all of the souls that were sealed in this place wouldn't be able to approach.
With this Sanguine Bracelet in my possession, I easily made it to the core of this trial space.
This was the place where Demon King Balcor hid his valuables.
Since I had cleared the boss, how could I not loot his stores?
I had to take everything that he had hoarded as my own.
That was just how it was when it came to demons.
"Not bad, not bad, it seems my luck is quite good." I said as I looked over the items that were in this treasure room.
This treasure room was one that gave random loot, so it really did depend on one's luck to see what they got from this place.
This time, I had gotten quite a few good drop items that would help me in the future.
"All of this will be helpful in the future. Now let's see if I can find anything else before I head back." I said while taking a look at Demon King Balcor's private room, but I quickly left that place.
That was because what I found was something that I didn't expect to find for a demon king.
There were quite a few things that seemed to belong to the lover of Demon King Balcor, as well as his regret.
This wasn't a zone when this world was still a game, so I had no idea that this thing was even here.
But it seemed that now that this world was a real world, there was lore that was never in the game before.
That helped sink in the fact that this world was now a real world…
"I'll survive in this world. It doesn't matter what they do to me, I'll show them who the real demon king is." I said to myself in a firm voice.
