Crystal Foster left the mall, still feeling a bit shaken. The look Hyland Riley gave her before she left felt like being wrapped by a venomous snake.
"Ma'am, it seems there's a traffic jam ahead. Let's take a different route," the driver suggested.
The car had been moving smoothly for a while but suddenly came to a stop. Crystal leaned forward to see several cars jammed together, with people arguing and shouting insults at each other.
"Let's take another route," she agreed, remembering Otto had called earlier, urging her to hurry.
The driver turned the car around and took a side road, not noticing that another car followed them into the narrow path.
"Sir, someone is tailing Mrs. Foster," Martin Riley was informed during a meeting. His eyes narrowed immediately. "Do we know who it is?"
"It's Hyland Riley's people."
Since Crystal left the mall, that car had been trailing them. The bodyguard even suspected the traffic jam might have been orchestrated by Hyland.
"I'm on my way."
