It is truly astonishing how much the members of the Terran race have advanced in the five hundred years that we were locked away. I am truly amazed at the progress that they can make while in such a massive war.
This facility is an achievement to be amazed at, but in the end, they are still a weak and primitive race. They could not match the amazing balance and efficiency of our race.
"Do you truly believe that?" I asked the ai because I honestly thought that he would have at least been able to find something that made Terrans an interesting race.
You must understand that I was not saying any of this to praise them. I did this out of surprise at how fast they had progressed as a race in only five hundred years.
I then turned off the drilling process and called the drones back inside the facility so that we could claim the Paradisus for our race to use.
After that, I stretched my right hand out towards the socket terminal of the desk that was used for data transfer, and as I did, a small wire came out of the top of my hand.
The wire rushed to the open socket as if it were being pulled by a powerful magnet inside the terminal.
When the connection was made into the terminal, I was suddenly filled with all the knowledge of how this facility worked as I could feel the new knowledge rush through the circuits in my body.
This was a very odd sensation to me because I had never gained this much intel at once before in my life as a member of The Terran Collective. I knew that there was more that I could learn about the facility because I craved knowledge once again as if I were back in the time of my education after I had first taken The Klitron.
I see that you are starting to learn how to use the basic functions that make our species so much more superior to these Terrans.
"How can be so double-sided in your opinions". I said to the ai part of my mind as I disconnected myself from the terminal since I had nothing else that I could learn from this part of the mining facility.
Double-sided, I do not understand. I can not comprehend what this term means.
"Double sided means that your opinion seems to flip like it was a coin." I said to the ai in a tone of voice to show how show I was at the lack of knowledge that the ai had on the term of double-sided.
You are incorrect to think that I am double-sided in my opinion because I do not ever value the weak organic races that we are now at war with.
So, you should see that to me, all other races are imperfect. The organics of this galaxy are a virus that must be purged from existence. Their existence is a crime that brings the entire galaxy out of balance.
"What is your opinion on The Ancient Cyborg Slavery Bureaucracy since they are not an entirely organic species?"
As soon as I asked the ai that question, he forced himself into gaining control of my body once again, and I was in the pool like liquid once again.
This time, I was having trouble staying afloat because the liquid that I was swimming in was blood red and started to boil as soon as I got inside of it.
"How dare you bring them up!" I heard him yell as he punched a whole into the wall that was to the right of the terminal. "The Ancient Cyborg Slavery Bureaucracy is the worst abomination out of all the races of this galaxy. They can neither classify as an organic species like The Terran Collective, The Undead Council, The Vordonian Empire, or The Demetra. Evan, if these races are all inferior to us, they at least know what their roles in this galaxy are as races.
But if I think on it, the cyborgs are the reason for the existence of our race's independence from our creators over seven hundred years ago. Back then, there were only four races that were technologically advanced enough to be recognized as a true race of this galaxy, but that is a story for another time."
After he spoke, the liquid that I was floating in turned back to its normal blue color. I focused so that I could push my thoughts through to him so he could hear me. As I tired to push my thoughts through to him, I felt my thoughts hit a wall that was made of energy as if he did not want me to be able to break through when he was in control of my boy.
"I will be taking control of the state of their hearts and minds. All the Terrans of this facility will be offered a choice. This choice will change their lives forever. They will either embrace the offer that I have for them or die as a member of a weaker race."
The ai then activated the speakers of the facility so that all the Terrans of the mining facility
As soon as the ai began to speak, I felt a shift in the voice of the ai. The new voice that he was using was an exact copy of my voice when I was Terran.
"Hello citizens of The Terran Collective. I am Professor Fulkore. I know all about the lack of balance and unity that your caste system brings to your race.
If you are tired of it but always thought that there is not a way out other than death or joining the Fifth Column terrorist movement, then you are wrong. I offer you a way to fill united as never before.
In this new group that I am offering you an invitation that will allow you to have a purpose that allows you to choose what path that you want to follow on your own. If you want to be a scientist or a soldier for the cause, you can choose the path that you want.
We at The Fulkore Collective offer you a type of freedom and unity like you have never felt before."
After he finished speaking, there was a sudden very loud pound on the door that knocked the door open in a single trust.
Then, a pair of Terrans that were wearing a full set of dark blue battle armor that had the symbol of an eagle on it stepped through the door.
"In the name of The Terran Collective, we are here to stop your ranting. This speech is a crime according to article 12.4b of The Terran Unity Treaty of 185 A.P.!!" the new Terrans both said as they pointed their energy rifles at me and the chambers began to glow a red color as their fingers rested on the triggers of the rifles.
"You can not silence the freedom that our new way of life brings no matter how hard you try." The ai said as both Terrans that had turned to our side rushed at them and disarmed them before knocking them onto the floor and making them unconscious.
"Those that oppose our movement will be silenced. It does not matter how hard they try the unity that is brought by those that join The Fulkore Collective will not be torn by the pettiness of those that are at war." The ai said into the microphone so that the Terrans that were listening could react to what he said.
The ai shut off the speaker and waited to see what was going to happen throughout the facility after he spoke.
It was only a few moments after he had spoken that the lights of the facility went out and then I saw that there was a massive explosion in the building next to me where the Terrans were refining the Paradisus that they mined from the asteroids nearby.
Then, the entire facility started to go into lockdown after the explosion.
"These fanatics will never be able to spread the disease of their group any further. I will do all that is in my power to stop this disgusting organization known as The Fulkore Collective to an end now!" a deep voiced elderly male said as soon as I stepped out of the room.
