Three cadets were standing right in front of the door, with a bouquet in their hands.
Lucien glared at them, scanning them from top to bottom.
These guys were first years, he could tell.
Meaning they couldn't have come here on their own.
They weren't even told about factions yet.
Someone sent them here to recruit him.
"What faction?"
He asked, curious about their purpose and their backer.
"The elite faction, reserved only for heirs of high nobles, core politicians, big guilds, and royalty."
They talked about their faction, and Lucien could already tell what their purpose was.
Elitism.
"We want you to be the faction's first-year leader."
Pfft!
A chuckle escaped his lips, making their eyes twitch.
They couldn't understand what was so funny about this.
"What's so funny, Your Highness?"
They asked, their tone a bit less polite.
"Nothing."
He said, raising his right hand and patting the center of one's shoulders.
