Chapter 6 - university graduation

The day of their university graduation arrived.

It was a bright, cheerful day. Everyone's faces were filled with happiness. After years of struggle, they had finally completed university.

The next day,

Serelina went back to her home to visit her father. She had wanted Elowin to come with her, but Elowin had to visit her grandmother in the village.

Though it had only been two days apart, Serelina already missed Elowin. She messaged her, but Elowin was busy taking care of her sick grandmother, who lived with her uncle.

"Grandma, please," Elowin asked softly, "come with me to the city."

But her grandmother smiled gently and replied, "No, dear. I'll stay here. I love this place."

Meanwhile, at Serelina's house, she sat with her father, Sarilash.

Serelina, he began, "what have you planned for your future?

I… haven't decided yet, she replied.

"You need to do an MBA in London. I've already arranged it," he said firmly.

"I don't want to go to London, Dad," she answered quietly.

"You must take over this business. London will give you experience, and your uncle will help you settle there."

"I haven't really thought about it yet, Dad," she said. "Let's just go out for dinner."

Her father nodded. "Alright. Think about it. I won't pressure you. You're my only daughter… after everything that happened."

Serelina gave him a bittersweet smile and nodded.

A few days later,

Serelina returned to the dorm. She had missed Elowin so much.

That evening, Elowin finally came back.

As soon as Serelina saw her, she rushed over and hugged her tightly. Elowin hugged her back, and they stayed like that for several minutes saying nothing, just holding each other.

Later,

they sat down and talked about their days apart.

Serelina didn't mention anything about going to London. Instead, she just listened as Elowin explained that she needed to find a job to support her grandmother.

"I'll help you," Serelina offered.

But Elowin gently shook her head. "No… I have to do this myself."

Serelina nodded and tried to cheer her up.

Meanwhile…

Talwoin had completed his university studies. After his father's death, he was asked to take over the family business as CEO. Over the years, he had focused solely on his studies, trying to forget the day he saw Elowin with another guy and walked away.

But oddly… he didn't feel much pain anymore. He hadn't missed her as deeply as he expected to.

Then one day, he heard something shocking,

Elowin had rejected that guy after all.

The realisation hit him.

Back in the city, Elowin received heartbreaking news: her grandmother's condition had worsened.

She was Overwhelmed and she broke down. Serelina pulled her into a warm hug and gently comforted her, whispering, "Don't be afraid I'm here."

The next day, they both travelled to the village. Together, they brought her grandmother back to the city and admitted her to the hospital.

Serelina never left Elowin's side.

She offered to help financially, but Elowin firmly refused.

So Serelina stayed close, doing everything she could

hugging her while she slept, cooking meals, gently brushing her hair back and whispering soft words when Elowin's eyes filled with tears.

She was her quiet strength.

And far away,

Talwoin made his decision.

He would make a contract marriage for 1 year , and got to know the news about her grandma

Because he wanted to help he and maybe, win her back.

But somethings was inside him, he didn't felt the fellings he used to feel and he expected to feel
