The house was almost filled with blood drops as Agatha was helping an injured Mia and Lucas, she felt so guilty for letting them bear the pain at very young ages. She knew that this would happen again but maybe at the cost of their lives, she didn't want them to sacrifice themselves for her. As Mia was in bed, she was glad that the family is back together, however Agatha weeped and knelt down asking for their forgiveness.
" No mom...it's alright, we're willing to sacrifice our lives to pound any bastard to the hell's gate for you ", Lucas said while holding his wounded left shoulder.
"That's my line you dwarf", Mia said.
"You know...you better be grateful that you're able to use that rotten leg of yours ", Lucas teased Mia.
Mia wanted to punch the dude but she was feeling too weak to do that.
Agatha looked at them both and smiled with teary eyes, "Y-you're the best children I could ever ask for ". Mia blushed while Lucas was...Lucas.
Agatha treated both their wounds, Mia at the moment was fully able to walk so she was given crunches, Lucas on the other hand was weak despite losing lots of blood but he still pulled through.
The next morning was a Saturday, Lucas woke up to do his daily routine exercise and stuff.
He came to the hallway to see Agatha and Mia getting breakfast ready.
"Good, just what they're supposed to do", Lucas said in a lower tone.
When he blinked, he could only see Mia there, only to discover that Agatha is at the back of him, glaring at him intensely.
"What was that....BOY??".
Lucas touched his chest and surrendered to the floor.
"Anyway breakfast is ready, hurry up and go eat.", Agatha said while looking at him intensely again, as if she had poisoned the food.
Lucas told them that after, he would be going to the library.
"What for?", Mia asked.
Lucas looked into her eyes and rose one his eyebrows and gave her a cheeky answer.
Mia felt that she deserved that one.
When Lucas was halfway to the library, a female approached him.
"Erm... hey Li-Linston".
