In the ruins of the facility. A piece of ruble rambled in the fire building na d burning trees.
The piece of ruble flew up, revealing Satel and Shin hidden under it, protected by a by a green mana bubble.
Satel looked around, her heart filled with sorrow and sadness. She fell to her knees, tears welling up in her eyes.
"Damn you goddess!!" Satel yelled as she allowed the tears to flow down, putting out the little fires that had bloomed beside her.
Shin stood there with a look of indifference on his face. He walked towards Satel and cuddled her. A silent offer for a shoulder to cry on.
Satel wailed for hours on end , clutching Shin harder and harder until she finally passed out.
Shin got up and left her on the ground. He looked around for any remaining resources. He managed to find some food , clothing and money that managed to survive on the lower floors.
Shin packed them in bag he found on he found on the way and ran back to Satel. Shin scooped her up.
He jumped off the ruined building into the forest ran forward. Shin leaped from tree to tree, occasionally stopping and looking around.
Shin continued toward the nearby mountain.
I hope there is a cave nearby

Just as Shin was lost in thought, he heard a creature roar nearby. He quickly went towards the roar.
When Shin reached it, he was met by a towering Brire bear.
A large bear like creature with flames spewing from the sides of his open mouth. It had skeletal armor on its head, shoulders and rib cage on its underbelly.
The creature had just scared off a bunch of smaller ones just as Shin had arrived.
The growled as it looked up at a tree, seeming to have sensed Shin's presence.
Well crap. I saw me
Shin quickly looked around and saw a cave behind him. He dash towards the cave with lightning speed.
The brire bear tried swatting Shin with its massive paw but he managed to use it as a foothold and jump around the bear.
Shin landed and rushed into the cave and quickly placed Satel and the bag down. He frantically searched it and found a sword hilt with a button on it.
Well ... close enough
Shin rushed out and immideatly had to jump to avoid another paw attack from the bear. He landed on its massive arm.
Shin dashed up it and appeared behind the bear. The brire bear turned its head with lightning speed, catching him off guard.
Shit. It's fast
Shin braced for impact as it turned and swatted him away. He grabbed onto the paw as it flew through the air.
Just as the bear raised the back of its paw to its face, Shin pressed the button on the hilt. Sword pieces shot out and formed a sword.
He immideatly drove it through one of the bear's eyes. The bear shot back in pain and tried squishing Shin with its other palm.
Shin held his sword up and the bear roared again as the blade stuck into its paw.
The bear then looked towards Shin and opened its mouth and shot out a gust of flame.
Shin jumped up and it burnt his own paw. The bear turned to face him again and opened wide once more.

Shin dashed his hand and a large arrow and of wind formed above it.
"Wind magic: Tier 2: Falling arrow,"
Shin flung it directly into the bear's mouth as it enter with a deafening whistle.
The arrow blew the bear's head clean off and its body flopped to the ground.
Shin landed next to it and headed towards its body and raised its unburnt paw. He lifted it and took out the blade.
Just as Shin was about to head into the cave he head a bunch of creatures growling in the nearby forest.
"Guess I'm not sleeping tonight," Shin said as he sighed and stood in front of the cave, ready for another battle.
