"Maria" Isabelle called and their attention was turned towards her.
"Maria listen to me" Wesley tried to speak but Maria clearly wasn't ready to listen.
She quickly walked away from them and got into her car driving away.
"What did you say to her?" Isabelle said as she got to Wesley.
"That's non of your concern" Wesley said before picking up the papers from the ground and leaving.
Isabelle stood there pondering, Maria definitely didn't look fine, but what had happened? Adrian told her to go get Maria as he needed to talk to her and the nurse directed her here only to find Maria with Wesley looking lifeless.

Maria drove her car as she tried calling Sebastian but he wasn't picking up.
"Why isn't he picking up my calls?" Maria muttered, fear was evident in her eyes, she needed to talk to him, she bit her lips hard as she called him again but he wasn't answering.
Her heartbeat increased as her mind went to how her parents died, the thought alone was too much for her she had to park her car at the side of the road, resting her head on the steering wheel.
FLASH BACK*
Maria had her highschool graduation that day and as usual her parents didn't attend, they never attended any of her school's events not even her graduation.
She was already eighteen and she was used to it, she went back home and as usual her mom was in the living room drinking with her phone in her hand.
She came back pretty late cause her classmates wanted to have a party after the graduation.
"Why are you just coming back?" Camilla yelled at her daughter.
"My classmates wanted to have a party, so I stayed" Maria explained briefly and made to Walk upstairs but Camilla blocked her.
"Do you know where your father is?" Camilla asked and Maria sighed.
How was she supposed to know, Alvaro never comes home except he wants to accuse Camilla of cheating on him.
"I have no idea" Maria said and Camilla slapped her on the cheek hard.
Maria held her cheek as he hair covered her face, this definitely wasn't the first time her mom was slapping her.
She usually gets beaten up anytime her father was away, her mom knew her husband was out there cheating somewhere and she usually pours her anger and frustration out on Maria, beating her mercilessly.
"How useless can you be!?" Camilla yelled as she glared at her daughter.
Maria looked up at the woman with anger in her eyes, she wanted to strangle her to death but no matter what this woman was her mother.
She decided to ignore and walked passed Camilla but the lady dragged her by the hair making Maria fall.
Camilla walked into the kitchen and came back with a kitchen wife.
"You should die already, you look so much like your father, how can a girl resemble her father so much!" Camilla yelled and Maria shook in fright.
Is she going to get killed by her mother? And there's no doubt in her mind that this woman in front of her would kill her.
She managed to escape death the first time when she was shot but she's not sure she would survive this one.
She stood up quickly and tried to counter her mom, trying to take the knife away from her but Camilla was relentless and the knife ended up In Camilla's stomach.
Blood rushed out of Camilla's mouth and Maria was shaking, her hand still on the knife as blood oozed out of the wound.
Maria's eyes darted towards the stab and she was surprised she didn't feel pity, she wasn't scared or remorseful for what happened happened.
She had stab her own mother but she wasn't regretful at all, Maria removed the knife from Camilla's stomach and the woman fell to the ground, she was trying so hard to breathe as she tried to hold her wound.
She tried to talk but blood kept coming out of her mouth, Maria bent down, the knife still in her hand as she looked at her mother.
"Maria..." Camilla managed out.
"Don't you dare call my name you bad excuse for a mother!" Maria sneered.
She looked at the bloody knife and a sinister smile crawled up her lips.
"Your blood isn't beautiful at all" Maria said before she could stop herself and Camilla breathed heavily till she finally took in her last breath.
The door opened and Alvaro entered, he was shocked to see the scene in front of him, it was clear Maria killed her mother.
He walked to them slowly as he watched Maria stood up looking at him with the smile still on her lips.
"¿Qué has hecho? (What have you done?)" Alvaro asked as he looked at a dead Camilla, he was already standing in front of Maria.
Just before Maria could talk, Alvaro's blood splashed on her face, staining her dress and hair.
There was a hole in his head as he dropped dead on the floor, it was quite obvious he was shot but by whom?
Maria looked around the house for any sight of a person with a gun but nothing, the house was lit but the outside was dark as it was already late.
She should be hiding behind something to avoid getting shot but she just doesn't care at the moment.
Maybe it would be better if she died but unfortunately nothing happened.
that day was one she would forever remember.
After all it was because of that incident that she started carving the urge to see blood cause she sat by the stairs staring at her parents body till the police and ambulance arrived and surprisingly, they didn't blame or ask her questions which Maria found weird.
END OF FLASHBACK*
Maria breathed heavily as she reminisced the past, she didn't know Sebastian killed her father and it's not like she is mad at him for killing the man but he should have told her at least.
And the engagement with Yolanda, it clearly wasn't forged, why didn't he tell her! She just wants to meet him so he can tell her everything was a lie.
Maria was still in thoughts when her car's glass window was broken and before she could fathom the incident a syringe was pierced on her neck and she felt her consciousness slowly fading away.

"Did you show her everything?" Yolanda asked immediately Wesley entered the room.
"Yes I did" Wesley answered as he sat down on the couch.
"What was her reaction?" Yolanda asked anxiously.
"She left before I could even say anymore to her, but am sure she believes me, just give her time" Wesley said calmly and Yolanda sighed.
She just couldn't shake off the the fact that something is wrong, her father allowed her to come to Spain cause he would be throwing his party here.
Why would he have his party here in Spain, what exactly is he planning?
She had received her father's DNA sample and she had sent it with hers to the hospital, all she has to do now is wait for the result.
There's a possibility Gabriel is not her father and she would be glad that bàstard isn't but the problem is, if Gabriel is not her father then Martin is and she doesn't want that at all.
She can't be Sebastian's step sister, its not possible!
Yolanda walked out of the room and called Bianca who she believed was Mary.
"Why aren't you here yet, am in Spain!" Yolanda yelled over the phone and hung up.

FALCONE HOTEL, NEXT DAY 8PM
Gabriel was dressed in a black shining suit as he walked into the elevator with his men trailing behind him.
When the elevator doors opened, he stepped out to a beautiful classic party, men and women dressed in luxurious and expensive clothes chatted while they enjoy the soft music playing.
Gabriel was celebrating his promotion in the most grandest way ever and of course all members of the la gente were there, including important business men and women of the falcone were invited.
Yolanda can be seen at the party with her long cocktail gown.
Wesley was there though he has a worried expression on his face.
He had been trying to call Maria but she wasn't picking up and he was worried, his father had asked him to attend this party and he hasn't even seen the man.
"Do you think Maria is alright?" Isabelle asked Adrian.
They were also at the party as Adrian was invited so he decided to bring Isabelle along.
"She needs time to adjust to what you told her so don't worry" Adrian said, oh how glad he was he could see, it felt really nice.
"But she didn't seem fine yesterday night, am worried" Isabelle complained, her eyes caught Sofia and Bianca so she quickly turned her head away so they won't see her.
"Where's the girl?" Richard whispered to Raul.
"Exactly where she is supposed to be, we just have to wait for our special guest" Raul replied.
Miguel looked at the two whispering to each other with suspicion.
Ever since he received the invitation to this party he knew they must be planning something, every important member of the falcone was here, something big Will definitely happen in this party.
Sebastian entered the party hall, his face clearly showed he was annoyed, Adrian was surprised to see him, he thought Sebastian won't be back today.
People in the party hall started whispering as they stared at him.

The light turned off silencing the whispers and then it was shown on the middle of the party hall revealing Gabriel standing there.
"Good evening ladies and gentlemen, I welcome you all to my party, thank you for receiving my invitation, I have a special gift for everyone" Gabriel smiled and everyone wondered what he was talking about.
"tráela (bring her)" Gabriel said and another door in the party hall opened, some men came out with Maria, who was tied, though she was conscious but her eyes seemed lifeless as she walked with the men. Her hands are tied behind her back.
"Ladies and gentlemen, this is Alvaro's daughter and yes, the traitor, Alvaro Vicente" Gabriel announced and the whispers in the hall began as everyone started talking.
Isabelle was in shock, so was Adrian and Wesley.
Infact everyone was surprised expect for Raul, Richard, Sanchez and Sofia.
Sebastian gritted his teeth in anger.
