_Chapter 9: The Plan_
Ethan, Maya, and Alexandra sat in the small café, their conversation flowing easily as they discussed their plan to take down the corporation. They knew it wouldn't be easy, but they were determined to see justice served.
"We need to get the evidence out to the right people," Maya said, her eyes scanning the room. "We need to make sure it's seen by someone who can actually do something about it."
"I agree," Alexandra said, her voice firm. "I've been thinking about that. I have a contact in the media who might be willing to help us. She's been investigating the corporation for months, and I think she'll be interested in what we have."
Ethan nodded, his mind racing with possibilities. "That's a great idea," he said. "But we need to be careful. We can't just send the evidence to her without making sure it's safe."
"I can encrypt the files," Maya said, her eyes lighting up. "I can make sure they're secure before we send them to your contact."
Alexandra nodded, a small smile playing on her lips. "I think that's a great idea," she said. "Let's get the evidence ready and send it to my contact. We'll see if she can help us get the story out."
As they talked, the plan began to take shape. They would gather the evidence, encrypt it, and send it to Alexandra's contact in the media. From there, it would be up to the journalist to investigate and expose the corporation's wrongdoing.
But as they sat there, discussing their plan, Ethan couldn't shake the feeling that they were being watched. He glanced around the café, his eyes scanning the room, but he saw nothing out of the ordinary.
"Let's get out of here," he said, his voice low. "I don't feel comfortable talking about this in public."
Maya and Alexandra nodded, gathering their things. As they left the café, Ethan felt a sense of relief wash over him. They were one step closer to bringing the corporation to justice, and he was determined to see it through.
The three of them walked in silence, their footsteps echoing off the buildings. They knew the road ahead would be difficult, but they were ready. They were ready to take on the corporation and bring them to justice.
As they turned a corner, Ethan noticed a figure watching them from across the street. He felt a shiver run down his spine, and he quickened their pace.
"We need to be careful," he said, his voice low. "I think we're being followed."
Maya and Alexandra exchanged a glance, their faces set with determination. They knew the risks, but they were willing to take them. They were willing to fight for justice, no matter what it took.
And with that, they disappeared into the crowd, determined to bring the corporation to justice and make sure the truth came out.
