Victoria Tiger
Later on, I heard that Natasha had been recommended by Prince Dylan Phoenix to join the Division Knights. Apparently, she was going to enlist next year. I shrugged, letting the thought drift away while my little attendant continued working on my hair.
Lennon was kneeling before me, delivering the news like it was some sort of epic revelation.I glanced at myself in the table mirror. "When did this happen?" I asked."Two weeks ago," he answered.I turned to him with a side eye. "And why are you telling me now?""Well, Your Highness, I just found out a few moments ago." He cleared his throat, then continued. "This is also part of the reason I came. The King has requested your presence once you're fully informed."
Sighing, I got ready and headed to the throne room. As I entered, I spotted Natasha already kneeling before the throne. I dropped into a bow, greeting her Majesty, the King of the East—Flora Tiger.
"You called for me, Your Majesty?"
Her Majesty was lounging on the golden throne, her bright orange hair cascading down like liquid flame. A part of it covered her left eye, hiding one of her intense, tiger-like irises. She wore a silk nightgown, her white thighs peeking through, even a little cleavage showing. She looked like she had just rolled out of bed—yawning, drowsy—but somehow still regal beyond measure.
Despite her sleepy look, Flora didn't need extravagant clothes or dramatic entrance music. She was power. She was the throne.
She turned her gaze to me. "Yes. This girl here came to ask you something."
I glanced at Natasha, who stood and bowed again. "Thank you, Your Majesty," she said, then turned to face me.Her eyes were different this time—intense, serious. Like a warrior. Like someone who'd already decided what hill they were willing to die on.
"Your Highness, Victoria Tiger," she began.I smiled gently, a bit amused. So formal now, huh?I guess she didn't know I was royalty before. Most people change when they find out—either full of fear or fake affection.
"I'd like to ask you to join my team," she said, offering her hand.
I blinked, surprised. Then smiled wider.I tossed out my etiquette training and took her hand like we were equals. "I'd be delighted," I said. "But tell me—what's your ambition?"
She tilted her head for a second, confused. Then smirked. Turning slightly, she looked up at Her Majesty.
"My ambition is to defeat the second strongest person in the Empire: the Commander of the Division Knights, and the King of the Tiger House—Flora Tiger."
She said it without flinching, without lowering her gaze.
The room shifted.
A heavy wave of Hashi hit me, thick with power. It felt like a predator had just caught our scent.I turned slowly.
Flora, who had looked sleepy moments ago, was now grinning. Her sharp canines peeked out, and her eye shimmered with something wild.
"Well, girl," Flora said, standing up. "You walk into someone's house and challenge the head of that house? You've got guts."
Her Hashi pressure didn't ease. I had to strengthen my own just to breathe. But Natasha? She didn't flinch. Her smirk only deepened.
"First," she said, "I'll grow stronger. Then I'll come back, beat you, and take your title. I'll be the Commander of the Division Knights. And then... I'll be the strongest in the Empire."
The tension between them crackled like lightning, two storms staring each other down.
Then, just like that, Flora yawned and walked off. "Sure, whatever."
And that—believe it or not—is how I met Natasha Aurora's team.
Did you like the story? No? Well, too bad. I'm not telling it again.
