I died alone inside my apartment in a secluded town. Well, not so secluded, but the area I Lived in was. So, when I died, no one was the wiser, since I bought that specific apartment for my self with all my savings when I was still working. I Lived a lonesome life, admittedly, but I was satisfied. Not so happy, but satisfied. My past time was playing Minecraft after getting home from work. I am not a Famous Streamer or anything. More like, I'm a solo player. And if I ever played in some smp or severs, I just greet the admin and stay as far away from other players as possible. I just get to my own place and do my own thing, mainly, farming. I make farming fields of different types, especially using mods in my solo worlds and trade the goods with the villagers. I do not care for the scam they put me in, especially since it's my own world. And I just go there to trade for some emeralds and such. I also build some mob farms in order to strengthen my gears and such. And just do everything most casual players do. Mine and craft. But most of the time, I farm.
So, when I woke up in an enclosed space surrounded by some sort of barrier, the first thing I thought of is that I really died and in front of me is a glowing person, presumably, a God. And this rang alarm bells in my head. Since aside from playing Minecraft, I also read many fanfiction novels, and manga. Not so much on anime anymore, since aside from bleach, one piece and naruto, every anime is somewhat cringe to me. Now, back to the situation at hand.
THE god in front of me watches me with what I could only assume as a face of consternation and guilt. I don't know why but it seemed that he had a hand in my death. Which was proven when he started speaking.
"Child of man, first of all, I would like to apologise for the abrupt end of your life. Please forgive me." he said in a guilt ridden voice while bowing his upper body reminiscent of those Japanese people.
Seeing him in that state made me speechless, but there's also something that bubbled inside of me. Satisfaction. Yes, I felt fulfilled or uplifted should be the proper term. Since you do not see or meet godly beings everyday. And once you meet them, then you are dead by that time. And in front of me, such being is bowing his head to apologise. But I should not gloat or get mad. Since that is not my position. Yes, I felt indignation on the fact that I died prematurely, according to him. But it's better to die satisfied in your life, than die in regret. And I was given the better deal of the two. So I told him, "uh, sir, it's fine, since its already done, there is nothing we can do about it any longer. So, please raise your head. I forgive you."
Hearing these words from me, the being visibly brighten up, quite literally, since his body shined even more golden than before. Raising his head to look at me, he talked in a more cheerful manner.
" thank you very much. I appreciate your forgiveness, since many undeserving souls nowadays from earth are quite high headed and think that everyone owes them something. But you on the other hand, are quite a humble person. And for that, I will give you a chance. You can wish anything you like from me, and I will do it in my own power to grant it."
" Uh, that quite overwhelming sir, but thank you. I'll gladly accept your offer. Then, can I wish to replace Michio from the anime Isekai Nonbiri Nouka or Farming Life in Another World? Though I would feel bad for him if I just replace him and be done with it. So if possible, make it so, that the world I will be in is a parallel of that world where there instead of Michio dying in sick Ed, he will live a long and happy life and that instead of him, I am the one that was sent to that world." I implore my wish.
" I can do that. But that is quite a simple wish. I will grant you another one. But first, let me ask, why?" he asked me." Well, I already stated my reason for replacing Michio, but for my own reason, I wish to continue my work in my game, minecraft. Since playing that game, I fell in loved in farming. Especially seeing how a single seed or crop you plant can grow into a bigger tree or plant that gives you more the more you take care of it. That is why, when I watched that anime, I felt envious of the protagonist, but it was satiated by playing Minecraft, since I can plant and mine however I like and I see the fruits of my labor doing the things I like. That is why, I want to go to that world and replace him. Call it envy but this is what I desire." I explained to the being.
" I see I understand now. Though I can simply read your mind, I respect your attitude which is rare now a days, especially those from Western Countries. Those souls have been corrupted far too long. So, what will you wish for the second one? And before you ask, I is okay, since I am the one giving you my blessing and such. So do not be modest and state what you wish." ahh I see. I am truly thankful for this being. Then I stated, " Then, I wish to have a minecraft system. Where I can open a dimension to overworld, nether and End in order to mine resources or materials there and bring it to the Real World. Since I want to continue my work in my old life in my minecraft world. Well, if that is okay with you though." I ask, hesitating on the last part, remembering who I am talking to.
Sensing my unease, the being spoke," It is fine, my child, as I said before, I am the one giving you my blessing. So it is fine to ask for more. I will grant this wish. However, I can only allow you to open and enter into these dimensions up to five times. And by that, I mean, I will create 5 sets of worlds that you can readily open and enter freely. It is up to you whatever you will do on these worlds. And since it will be based solely on the minecraft worlds, the laws of the world will follow the game mechanics as a whole. Oh, and since we're at it, I will throw in a rudimentary system for you. It's only function will be to monitor your overall status. It will not have any of those missions, quests and shops as such. So, you will have to work for every status points that you will receive. Well, I doubt you'll find it difficult, especially, once you build a massive mob spawner." he said like he was anticipating the future for me. Then he added," Well, that will be all for me. So, your wishes are to be the replacement of the protagonist in Farming Life in Another world and bring good fortune to Hiraku Michio; and then to have an integrated minecraft system to you and be able to open 5 new world. Well. That will be all. And I hope you have a happy life.
