"Wow! Wow! It turns out my guess was right. You don't deserve to be my boyfriend because you cheated on me secretly!"
A young woman smiled sarcastically at her ex-boyfriend who was caught red-handed having sex with a flirtatious woman in a fairly remote inn in a small town. The ex-boyfriend was furious at the cunning woman, took a golf club and then threw it at his ex.
However, his action ended in failure. His stick was immediately blocked by the young woman swiftly, then the young woman kicked his sensitive area, making him helpless. He winced in pain while hugging his new girlfriend who was only wearing underwear.
"Even though I look stupid all this time, I won't be stupid if my boyfriend cheats on me secretly!"
"Do you think you'll be safe dating Ansel? He won't be loyal to you forever!"
"I still won't believe what you say. Ansel has been very loyal to me all this time. I've been dating him for one year. He's never hurt me!"
The woman turned around and put her hands on her hips. "I hope that your relationship with your new girlfriend will last. I will not interfere in your affairs anymore after I get this evidence." Her head turned back for a moment. "Then, isn't this woman your old girlfriend? How many women have you slept with so far?"
"You're such a jerk, Victoria!"
Victoria admitted that she was indeed a jerk because she had broken up with her ex-boyfriend one year ago, but she was still looking for evidence of her ex-boyfriend's affair. What was the purpose? Because her current boyfriend told her something important. Her current boyfriend named Ansel did not want her to always remember the bitter memories of the past. Therefore, she decided to end it all before they continued their relationship to the next stage.
After completing her mission to reveal her ex-boyfriend's affair, Victoria visited a five-star restaurant located in a skyscraper. She only tidied up her appearance for a moment then approached her lover who had been waiting for her sitting by the window. The dining table was decorated with candles and a bouquet of roses. A cheerful smile adorned her face as she stared at her lover's behavior, which was currently sweeter than usual.
She sat down opposite her lover, crossing her legs. "What's wrong? It's unusual for you to be this over the top."
The handsome young man widened his smile. He knelt down and opened the small box revealing a shining diamond ring.
Victoria couldn't hold back the tears of joy that flooded her cheeks. She didn't expect to be suddenly proposed to by her lover, even though lately her lover had been working hard until he came home late at night. Was it because they had been dating for quite a long time that they should have been ready to get married?
"Victoria, I'm bored if we just date. How about we get married? I'm very ready to marry you."
"Ansel, I didn't expect you to propose to me so soon. Haven't you been busy lately?"
"I am busy, but that doesn't mean I forget about you. After two years of being together, I am very happy to create many beautiful memories with you." His eyes were focused on the pendant his lover was wearing. "I hope you forget all your dark past. I don't want you to keep looking for your husband's whereabouts."
Victoria fingered the pendant in the form of a ring on her neck while looking down. "You must be afraid that I will reject you because I am curious about what my husband is really like."
"If your husband truly loves you, he will definitely not abandon you. If I were your husband, I would definitely keep looking for you." Ansel kissed the back of his lover's hand for a few seconds. "With me, you definitely won't have to feel anxious anymore. I will make you happy for the rest of your life."
"Well, instead of talking all the time, how about you put the ring on my finger?" Victoria held out her right hand with a bright smile.
Ansel laughed happily and immediately put the diamond ring on his lover's ring finger. Slowly he raised his body and then moved his lips closer to his lover's lips. However, his lover immediately pulled her head back, making him a little disappointed.
"I'm sorry, Ansel. I want our first kiss to be on our wedding day. Is that okay?"
Ansel was forced to smile, instead he hugged his lover's body tightly while stroking her hair. "It's okay. The most important thing is that you are willing to marry me, I am grateful."
"But, can I keep my necklace on? For some reason, I have a hard time taking it off."
"Do you really still hope to get your husband back?"
"No. But, I want to take good care of it and then I will return it when I find its owner."
"What if your husband really doesn't let you marry me?"
"But why are you so sure it's a wedding ring? What if it's actually a sign of engagement?"
Ansel released the hug for a moment. "That's even more beneficial. I don't have to feel burdened anymore."
Today is the best day of Victoria's life since she survived the fatal accident two years ago. Actually, she doesn't remember anything she did during those two years and she doesn't even know who her previous lover was. Was her lover really a good person or not? As she stood in front of her house, she saw a brown envelope slipped into the door. There was no sender's name. Her eyes immediately narrowed, before entering the house, she decided to open this mysterious package. Maybe this package contained a suspicious object.
