James grabbed Eliza's hair even if he got hint of danger. "Are you trying to scare me?" James asked her. She gave him a sinister smile. "Aren't you scared?" She reply and chuckled. She look totally different now.
"N.. No i am not..." James stuttered when Eliza moved close to him with her evil stare. He slowly took his hands from Eliza's hair. He didn't know why he was scared?sign of universe? Maybe...
He froze for a moment. Eliza let out a sigh. Her patience is better now compared to before. So she decided to let him go. "Loser" she commented and walked towards gate.
She was walking her way towards home. She didn't notice that james was following her. He mustered up the courage to put her down again.
He fastened his pace. He is ahead of her because he chose a shotcut to follow her. The word "loser" burned up his ego.
When Eliza was about to pass by a small old house...
James grabbed her inside the home. It was too old and destroyed. Its doors and windows were broken.
"James" Eliza shouted.
James threw her towards the wall. Causing her to hit her back. Fortunately, her backpack saved her.
James looked like a hungry animal.
He was breathing heavily. He smirked while giving Eliza a piercing look. But Eliza stood still.
Unexpectedly, james came closer to Eliza. He put both of his hands to the wall. Blocking her.
To his surprise, Eliza started laughing. "I have been craving for a fight. Your school is kinda boring " Eliza said,her smile twisted and sadistic. James's smirk faltered as Eliza delivered a devastating kick, sending him crashing to the floor.
The cracked floorboards seemed to shatter his spine, and his stomach churned with agony.
Eliza moved closer to him and picked him up by his collar.
"What is this james? You can't even scare me?" Eliza said in a malicious tone.
James was burning with anger. He never got hurt by anyone. It fueled his anger and ego.
. He launched himself at Eliza, fists flying, but she dodged with ease and countered with a vicious elbow strike that sent James's head spinning.
James's fist flew towards Eliza, but she didn't flinch. She stood like a statue, her expression unreadable. James's punch stopped mere inches from her face, and then he crumpled to the floor, defeated.
"Done?" She asked him in a melancing tone. His face redenned with anger. "I won't spare you, Eliza Christopher " he sneered. "Best of luck" Eliza cackled and chuckled. Eliza's movements were swift and effortless as she picked up James's bag and tossed it onto his face. The bag landed with a soft thud, and James's face was momentarily obscured.
He covered his face with both of his and absorbed all the pain. Eliza went out of the house.
" Claire? What are you doing here? " Eliza asked as she is suprised by the person standing infront of her. He entered into the old house and looked at james. "Oh! I thought you died" Claire mocked and laughed.James shot him a glare but Claire just chuckled. Then he went back to Eliza.She already started walking and he followed her. "Good thing, Eliza. Lily should be proud of you" Claire said without realizing. Eliza's eyes widened in shock. She froze.Tears started to form in her eyes as she heard that name 'Lily '. Eliza gave that nickname to Liana. Somehow, Eliza hold back her tears. "H.. How do you know her? How do you know the name i gave her?" Eliza asked soflty and suspiciously to Claire. That's when Claire realized his mistake. "She.. She is my sister" Claire admitted without taking his eyes off Eliza. She panted heavily . Her smart watch started to beep as her blood pressure increased.Eliza felt like her world is spinning. Claire's eyes widened and he started worrying as he looked at Eliza's condition. "Eliza?" He called her sofly. Eliza suddenly wake up from thought. She seem lost.She hold her head with both of her hands and tightened her grip on her hair. "I'm sorry... It's my fault " she kept murmmering the same thing few times. "N.. No... It's not" Claire tried to calm her down. "Eliza, please..." Claire called her name. Claire put his hands on Eliza's shoulder to calm her down. But she ran in another direction. Suddenly,a truck appeared from nowhere. Both of them froze but Claire somehow saved her. He held Eliza close to his chest. She pushed him away. She is so panicked. Claire was so scared by that. It was the first time claire witnessing such a fragile part of her. She ran away. He tried to follow her but she disappeared. He searched for her everywhere but no use.
