When they entered the building was dead silent,when they entered the hall they found Lucian's brother sitting on the throne

When he saw Lucian he didn't even bother to stand and just spoke "What do you think you're doing teaming up with them,does that mean you're against us or the rest of the world?"
Lucian found it hard to speak up but he couldn't remain the person he was back then,he needed to stand up for himself
"Yes,I'm not in support of this war,"
His brother then seemed visibly angry by what he said and then stood up "Do you think you and your team have the strength to make that happen,you guys would crumble before you archive anything,"
"I don't t care,even if it means dying I won't give up,I don't ever want to go back to waiting for someone to take my life,"
Before Lucian could talk some more he received a sharp kick in the jaw suddenly sending him flying back across the room
Kai appeared visibly worried d as he shouted out "Lucian!"
Anastasia was quick and stopped in front of Ian,Ian then said to her " This is between me and him,I won't kill him,so back off" He glared at her
Anastasia backed off watching him warily,Ian then walked to where Lucian was,he then gave him a punch in the guts "I didn't think you were that stupid to believe in fairy tales,"
"Don't think you're the only one who wants this damn war to be over,if only you were reliable then thingsight have been better" He spat out angrily
Ian then kicked him again but this time Lucian didn't fall back and stood rooted to his spot "Don't give me that crap like you're the only one who is going though shit!" Lucian said loudly
"I finally feel like I can walk again,even if this thing called hope may sound ridiculous,it was the fist thing I was able to love"
He then headbutted Ianaking him stumble back a little "So stop trying to make me miserable,"
Ian then stood silently for a while and then returned back to his throne "Do what you want,I'll kill you if you do t archive anything,"
Lucian's eyes then brightened and smiled with his eyes "Sure...you can count on me,"
Anastasia couldn't help but smile as they were all smiling cheerfully,Lucian could never forgive his brother for the way he treated him but this made things a little better for him
He remembered his brother would cry and take it out on him anytime any of his people died because of his orders
"And when I come back,youre going to owe me one" Lucian added
Before they left Ian handed them a phone,though it was Lucian's first time seeing one,it seemed like one of the human contraptions
"You can call the angels through this phone,it is useless to me so take it," Ian said making them all visibly happy
Anastasia thanked him and then they all went out of the vampire city,a month went by but the angels ignored their call until Lucian was alone on the phone,an angel finally awnsered
