"You're here, brother"
-
Wong woke up early today just like yesterday, the day after yesterday, and the day after that. Sitting up, he groggily rub his eyes before expertly wiping his mouth. He moved quickly, finishing his morning routine before lying on the mat to meditate.
"I should be able to do it today" Wong exhaled. Bringing his hands together, eldritch script slips out of his mouth as the space in front of him resonated with his chant.
One line.. two lines.. three lines.... four lines.. until finally.. whoosh~
The finished rune shine brightly in the air. Finished, it levitated off the ground before coming back down just as fast. The rune then dimmed and dissipated in the air.
"Success" Wong clenched his hand in celebration, not minding the sweat flowing down his face.
On the original location of the rune now lays a tiny monster the size of a palm. It possessed qualities commonly seen in Eldritch creatures: impossibly big mouth, impossibly sharp teeth, numerous eyes, and multiple appendages, just it's tentacles alones reached double digits.
Despite its size, Wong didn't dare underestimate it and hurriedly offered a drop of his blood.
Seeing this, the monster didn't refuse. Just as the drop of blood is about to fall, it froze in mid air as if someone hit the pause button. The monster then narrowed its beady eyes as it's pupil reflect the bloods composition.
"You must succeed" Across the monster, Wong rub his hands together, staring unblinkingly at his own blood.
After what feels like a lifetime- the blood suddenly disappeared, and stored by the monster.
This action signified the successful formation of the contract between Wong and the creature. Soon, the name of the creature appeared in his mind alongside knowledge of a new spell.
Without waiting for Wong to react, it waved it's many tentacle and ended the summoning. It's body shined an eerie glow before disappearing from reality.
What Wong did is what all eldritch magic user has to go through in order to harness eldritch magic: Eldritch summoning.
Practicioners commences a ritual consisting of gestures, chants, arrays and more depending on the strength of the creature they are going to summon.
The main goal is to attract the attention of the creature, making it willingly accept the invitation for the initial summoning. The summoner would then try to initiate a contract using their blood.
What Wong initiated with Qibisis is a mutual contract. The way it works is that Qibisis will allow Wong to tap into its power and authority to summon it in exchange of spiritual debt.
This debt can be paid in the form of offerings: mystical items, souls, or favors (essentially when Qibisis is in a tight spot).
Clap~ "With this I'll be able to protect Lay better when he wakes up" Wong parted his hands and smiled.
Suddenly, his smile froze when he looked down at his palm. Without bothering which hole the light seep through, he bolted to the door and rush outside.

Wong paused, wondering if he's hallucinating due to lack of oxygen. Hearing no more noise, he pushed open the door and saw Lay waiting for him with a smile.
"You-you're awake" Wong suddenly steps up "I'm sorry. I've been an irresponsible brother"
Lay didn't know what to do with his hands, but feeling Wong's concern, he didn't hesitate to pat his back.
"It's alright now. I'm okay"
It took a while before Wong agree to let go of Lay. Afterwards, Wong bombarded him with questions regarding his health, and touched him from time to time. However, Lay didn't feel annoyed and patiently answered each inquiry.
Lay absorbed his counterpart's memory. Its not just scenes of the past but also emotions and sentiments that came with it. When it comes to Wong, he only feels the warmth of familial bond.
"I only slept for a while and you gain all this weight" Lay chuckled as he pinched Wong's face. The Wong in front of him is far from his MCU counterpart, be it in terms of strength or age. However, it didn't change his round head and chubby appearance. Vaguely, their faces even overlapped in his mind.
"Brother you're bullying me again" Wong puffed his cheeks, clearly he was the older of the two but with Lay, his younger brother, he can't muster much resistance.
Lay as a baby never once cried. Even when hungry, he'll crawl towards Wong's parents or use his toys to create sounds to attract their attention. Needless to say, he was both a sensible and intelligent baby.
This trait becomes more prominent overtime as Lay interacted with the outside world earning him adoration from his peers and teachers in Kamar-taj.

Kamar-taj, central tower
A hooded person can be seen levitating in the air, shrouded by mystical lights. All around her, different energies from different dimensions spill out into reality. This reaction provoked a strong reaction from the Earth's plane and the void trembled for a moment.
Unfazed, the hooded sorcerer opened her palms outwards. Instantly, the previously rampaging energies calmed down as if they receive a signal. With it, the void also return to its calm. The energies circled around the sorcerer before obediently assimilating inside her.
"Come in" She announced as her feet touch the ground.
