Chapter 6 - A new face and new Danger

Monday.

Progress, Eli and Talia continued to have their fan times at school. They were a well balanced trio and surprisingly close, but as the next period was about to start their teacher had a announcement to make.

Ms. Thompson smiled warmly as she began to speak. "Before we start our next period, I have an important announcement to make. We're welcoming a new student to our school, and I'm thrilled to introduce her. Please give a warm welcome to Amélie Dupont!"

The classroom fell silent as everyone's eyes turned to the doorway. A girl with long, dark hair and bright blue eyes walked in, her presence drawing attention. She had an air of quiet confidence about her, and her gaze swept the room as if searching for something or someone.

Eli's eyes narrowed slightly as he watched Amélie. Talia, on the other hand, beamed with excitement, always eager to meet new people. "Hey, she looks cool!" Talia whispered to Eli, nudging him playfully.

Ms. Thompson smiled warmly at Amélie. "Amélie, would you like to introduce yourself to the class?"

Amélie nodded graciously, her bright blue eyes scanning the room. "Hello everyone, I'm Amélie Dupont," she said with a hint of a French accent. "The Dupont estate has been a part of Beacon Hills for generations, and I'm honored to be a part of it and I hope to make a positive impact here."

She paused, her gaze drifting out the window, as if envisioning the hills of Beacon Hills. "The Dupont estate sits atop one of the hills, overlooking the town. It's a legacy I'm proud to carry forward. I'm excited to meet all of you and make the most of my time here. Let's have a good time together."

The class applauded politely, intrigued by Amélie's introduction. "Welcome, Amélie," Ms. Thompson said, handing her a schedule. "I'm sure you'll fit right in here." Mrs Thompson pointed to the empty seat next to Eli and encouraged her to take the seat. As Amélie took her seat, Eli leaned over and whispered, "You're certainly... intriguing, Amélie."

Amélie smiled enigmatically, her eyes locking onto his. "Thank you, Eli. I'm looking forward to getting to know you better."

Lunchtime, everyone was gathered around Amélie. She was this beautiful girl who made even women question their sexuality. So, it wasn't shocking seeing her getting surrounded like that. Progress, Eli and Talia watched from afar as all of these was happening but they couldn't careless about it as they were talking about the supernatural world, not loudly though since they didn't want anyone to hear.

"So, Eli. I never got the chance to ask. But, were you Bitten by a werewolf?" Progressed asked

"Nop, I was actually born as one. My Dad was a werewolf, actually my whole bloodline is basically werewolves. " He said smiling.

Talia, with a smirk responded. "We're one weird little group, huh?" After a silent pause she continued. "I'm serious, think about it. Eli is born into a bloodline of werewolves. I'm born into a family of hunters and Progress here gets Chosen to be the new guardian wolf."

Progress looks at the two and comments. "Yeah. But, we're not as weird as the pack Rli is in. You heard what you're parents said about the McCall pack."

Talia Noded. "Yeah,I did. And I gotta say, they sound just like the black bulls from black clover. "

Talia nodded thoughtfully, her eyes flicking between Eli and the crowd surrounding Amélie. "That's really cool, Eli. I've always been fascinated by the different types of supernatural creatures. I've been researching the history of werewolves in Beacon Hills, and I think there's a lot more to it than we know."

Eli leaned in, his voice barely above a whisper. "I've heard rumors about an ancient curse that affects the supernatural creatures in this town. Do you think there's any truth to it?"

Progress nodded, his eyes scanning the surrounding area to ensure they weren't being overheard. "I've heard similar rumors. Some people say it's connected to the Nemeton, an ancient ritual site nearby. But we need to be careful; there are those who would rather keep the truth hidden." As they spoke, Amélie glanced over at them, her bright blue eyes meeting Progress's for a brief moment for the first time. Progress instantly got a vision of a woman who looked like Amélie and a man fighting other two women who looked identical to Amélie, but their clothing was that of the 18th century.

The vision unfolded like a vivid dream, transporting Progress to a moonlit battlefield in the 18th century. He saw a woman who looked like Amélie, with the same bright blue eyes replaced by full black eyes, and dark hair, fighting alongside a man. They were surrounded by two women who were identical to Amélie as well, with the same black eyes and sharp fangs, their faces twisted in feral rage.

The woman who resembled Amélie wielded a sword with precision, her movements fluid and calculated. Her black eyes gleamed in the moonlight, and her sharp fangs were bared in a snarl. The man fought with ferocity, his eyes blazing with determination, as he held two daggers made of bones in his hands.

The two identical women, however, seemed driven by a primal fury, their bodies moving with unnatural speed and strength. As Progress watched, the woman who looked like Amélie stumbled backward, her sword slipping from her grasp. The man rushed to her aid, but the two identical women pressed their attack.

In a flash of steel, the man fell to the ground, his body still. The woman who resembled Amélie let out an anguished cry, her black eyes filled with blood tears and despair. She lunged forward, determined to protect the man, but the two identical women overpowered her. Just as all seemed lost, the woman's expression changed, her eyes flashing with a fierce determination. With a sudden surge of strength, she managed to subdue the two identical women, pinning them to the ground and impaling eqch one of them with the bone daggers to the heart. The man, mortally wounded, looked up at her with a mix of sadness and gratitude.

With his last breath, he whispered, "Guard them, Aurélia. Keep them contained." The vision faded, leaving Progress breathless and disoriented. Progress's eyes snapped back to the present, his mind reeling with the implications of what he had seen. "You okay man?" Eli said in worry.

Talia continued, also sounding worried with a hint of jealousy." You've been starring at the new girl for a while now.."

"You guys didnt see that?" Progressed answered with concern.

Eli and Talia looked at each other confused then back at him. "See what?" They both said.

Progress hesitated, unsure how to explain the vision that had left him shaken. "I... I saw something," he began, his voice barely above a whisper. "A vision, I guess. Of a woman who looked just like Amélie, and... and some other stuff."

Eli and Talia exchanged a concerned glance, their expressions serious. "What kind of stuff?" Eli asked, his voice low and cautious.

Progress took a deep breath, trying to process the images that still lingered in his mind. "She was fighting these... creatures. They looked just like her, but they were different. And there was a man, he was dying, and he told her to guard them, keep them contained."

Talia's eyes narrowed, her brow furrowed in confusion. "What does that even mean?" she asked, her voice tinged with skepticism.

Progress shook his head, feeling a sense of unease. "I don't know, but I think Amélie might be connected to this somehow. I saw her face, and it was like... I knew her."

Eli's expression turned thoughtful, his eyes fixed on Amélie across the room. "This is getting weird," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "First, we find out she's from some old family in Beacon Hills, and now you're having visions about her?"

Talia's eyes darted between Progress and Amélie, a hint of jealousy still lingering in her voice. "Yeah, and she's definitely got everyone's attention," she said, her tone laced with a mixture of fascination and wariness.

As they spoke, Amélie looked up, her bright blue eyes meeting Progress's for a brief moment. He felt a shiver run down his spine, a sense of connection that he couldn't explain.
