Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: The Hidden Flame

Days passed at Ravenhart Academy, but for Leon, each day felt like a battle.

The nobles avoided him. Some mocked him. Others ignored him completely.

His classes were difficult, and the magic lessons were even worse.

While others easily created spells with a flick of their fingers, Leon struggled to produce even a spark.

He studied late into the night. He copied every spell by hand, practiced alone in the empty halls, and sometimes collapsed from exhaustion.

Yet, deep down, he felt something.

A flicker.A warmth.A strange fire that pulsed in his chest whenever he was pushed to his limit.

🌒 One Evening...

It was almost midnight. The sky was cloudy, and the training ground was empty.

Leon stood there, sweating, his shirt soaked from practice.

His burned arm was wrapped tightly, but he ignored the pain.

He raised his hand and focused again.

"Ignis... Prima…""Come on. Please."

A tiny flame blinked to life—then died.

Leon fell to his knees in frustration.

"I don't get it," he muttered. "I feel the magic… I know it's there… Why won't it come out?"

Suddenly, the air around him shifted.

The wind stopped. The shadows grew darker. The moonlight dimmed.

A strange symbol began to glow faintly on the back of his hand. It looked like fire—but ancient and broken.

"What... is this?"

The flame inside his chest roared to life.

His eyes burned bright red for just a second.

And then—BOOM!

A burst of heat exploded from his hand, blasting the training dummy into ash.

Leon fell backward, eyes wide in shock.

The ground around him was scorched. The air smelled like smoke. His hand was shaking—not from pain, but from the power.

"That... wasn't normal fire."

👁 In the Shadows...

From behind a pillar, an old professor watched silently. His eyes narrowed.

"That magic… it's not from this world."

🕯 The Next Morning

Leon woke up feeling tired but calm. He remembered the fire.

The explosion. The symbol.

"Was that real?" he whispered.

He checked his hand. The mark was gone. No one mentioned anything.

The school was normal again.

But he knew. Something inside him had changed.

He wasn't just a boy without magic anymore.

He was something more.

Something dangerous.

And soon… someone else would notice.
