Chapter 1 - Prologue: Before Time, There Was a Breath

"Then, even nothingness was not, nor existence…" — Rig Veda, Nasadiya Sukta

Before time blinked its first eye,

Before matter clothed itself in form,

Before even gods had names—

There was Stillness.

And in the Stillness, there was Awareness.

It did not think.

It did not speak.

It simply was.

And then—

It breathed.

Not with lungs, for lungs had not yet been imagined.

Not with sound, for sound had no medium.

But with a ripple—

A vibration that sang into the void.

Om.

The First Vibration cracked the fabric of Nothing.

From that breath spilled time, space, light, and darkness.

Expansion.

Entropy.

Possibility.

In the beginning, he was just a man.

Aryan Dev, physicist, skeptic, and a casualty of curiosity. The moment the particle accelerator malfunctioned, he saw not death but... unfolding.

His body was torn apart by energies beyond comprehension—quarks unraveling, atoms singing hymns as they split—and in the final instant before annihilation, he felt everything.

The next thing he knew, he was floating in a place with no directions. No stars. No body.

Only a voice.

Not a voice that spoke, but one that existed within him.

"You have died in a small universe and awakened in the Source Field."

"You are to be seeded as Brahma—the Dreamer of Worlds."

He tried to scream. There was no mouth.

He tried to move. There was no space.

All he could do was feel—and the feeling was infinite potential.

And then, without choice, he began to dream.

In his dream, the lotus bloomed.

In his dream, time began.

In his dream, a billion galaxies danced like fireflies around a spiraling cosmic serpent.

But dreams are fragile.

And not all vibrations bring harmony.

As he dreams the universe into existence, something ancient stirs—a presence that remembers the last cycle... and seeks to undo this one.
