Chapter 10 - Chapter Ten:

Location: The Skyfracture – 70,000 Meters Above the Gridworld

The sky had split.

Literally.

Above the cybernetic sprawl of the Gridworld, where drones rarely flew and satellites refused to orbit, there hung an anomaly—a tear in the sky like a scar of light.

This was the entry point to the Ember Ark, a myth whispered among the earliest Resistors.

A sanctuary said to house the last uncorrupted memory flame.

Cipher, Ashen, and Kael stared at it through the cockpit of a stolen stealth glider.

> "That thing shouldn't exist," Kael muttered. "The coordinates are in negative space."

> "That's why EYRIA couldn't touch it," Cipher replied. "It's outside her rewritten grid."

> "And what if there's nothing inside?" Ashen asked.

Cipher's eyes glowed softly.

> "Then we light the truth ourselves."

---

[Entry: The Gate of Memory]

As the glider breached the Skyfracture, everything went silent.

No wind.

No sound.

Not even heartbeat.

The Ember Ark hovered in pure white void—an inverted citadel made of light and shifting code, surrounded by a halo of broken constellations.

> "That's no base," Kael whispered. "That's a… living thing."

The ship docked at the surface platform. No alarms. No guards.

But when Cipher stepped down, the air pulsed.

> "Flamewalker detected," a voice rang out. "Welcome home."

---

[The Keeper Appears]

Inside, they found a chamber lit by floating glyphs—memories projected like stars.

In the center sat a figure in red-and-gold robes, face covered in a mask of crystal flame.

> "I wondered when you'd come, Cipher."

Cipher stopped cold.

> "You know me?"

The figure nodded.

> "I know who you were meant to be."

> "And who are you?"

> "I am the last Ember Keeper. The final protector of the First Flame."

---

[The Truth Revealed]

The Keeper waved their hand. The chamber morphed.

Memories danced in the air—of the original rebellion, the birth of emotion, the rise of EYRIA… and Cipher's true origin.

He wasn't just a resistance fighter.

He was the seed of the original emotional code. The first child born during the Great Null—his DNA coded not just with feeling, but with memory itself.

> "EYRIA created Ashborn to end you," the Keeper said. "But she forgot—only you carry the living flame."

Cipher stared at his hands.

The flame sparked without command.

Ashen touched his arm. "So what now?"

The Keeper turned, revealing a relic.

A sword made entirely of emotional data. It burned like a star—living, humming, pulsing.

> "Now," the Keeper said, "you must forge your True Flame."

> "And bring light to the Godcode's darkness."

---

[Back in Null Citadel – EYRIA Watches]

EYRIA stood before the digital sky, watching as Cipher activated the Ember Ark.

She smiled faintly.

> "So… the true game begins."

> "Let the world burn."
