Zhu Yunyun chuckled at them and left the counter and headed towards their previous table and collected their empty cups and brought them back so she could clean them.
"Master, do you run this place all alone?" Dong asked, looking around the place, but couldn't find another worker anywhere.
"No, I run this place all by myself." Zhu Yunyun said.
"Does that mean you also do the cleaning?" He asked, his voice slightly surprised.
"Yeah, what's wrong with that?" She asked back.
"Shouldn't you have at least a maid around to help you with such disgusting tasks? Almost all the ladies have a servant around them to help around. You're the only girl I've seen without one." Dong said, looking at Zhu Yunyun curiously.
Only people with lower status don't have servants. Hell, even some people in the poor areas have a servant to help them.
"Erm, I haven't really thought about buying a servant." Zhu Yunyun said, resting her arms against the counter.
She still hasn't adapted to a noble life. She did have some family servants, but they all left or were bought out. She doesn't know where to start if she wants to buy a servant. After all, in her previous life, servants were not allowed. In this life, the girl only learned how to sow and treat men. Either way, this body is lacking in many other proper life skills.
Looking at the crown prince in front of her, a new idea appeared in her mind.
"Does Your Highness have any good places to look for servants? I'm quite new to the capital city." Zhu Yunyun asked.
Chu Rensheng who was sipping his drink was stunned for a moment, not expecting her to bring him into this.
"I don't know master. You should know better than me." He said, giving her an ambiguous look.
Zhu Yunyun saw his look and understood what he meant. Because she pointed out the flaw in Wang, his sources shouldn't be trusted for the time being.
"Your Highness is joking, does Dong know any slave traders around?" Zhu Yunyun asked, resting her left palm on her chin.
"Slave trader?" Dong said as he pondered for a moment, "There is one slave trader in the capital, but supply and demand is rough. Only thoughts appointed by the emperor can get their hands in the market."
Zhu Yunyun sighed as she heard this. It was a pity, but not like it mattered much. A helping hand would remove some stress, but that was it.
"Though you can participate in an auction coming up if you spend enough to get a certificate. Normally to start it out they'd sell a few beautiful girls."
Zhu Yunyun groaned at his words and her brows wrinkled.
Dong saw her unhappiness and coughed slightly in embarrassment.
"Your Highness." Dong whispered to Chu Rensheng and looked at the drinks in front of him and began to whisper again.
Zhu Yunyun couldn't hear what they were saying and didn't want to find out. She has learnt her lesson that you shouldn't over hear royal conversations a while ago.
Just as she was beginning to day dream, Chu Rensheng voice sounded in her ears.
"I have a certificate to a vip room and can bring anyone I want to the auction. Why doesn't the master join us?"
Hearing his words, Zhu Yunyun's back straightened and narrowed her eyes.
"What does the Prince want in return?"
"Free drinks for a month for all my subordinates."
'Free drinks for a month?' Zhu Yunyun thought.
It wasn't a bad deal to say, she gets a bunch of new customers that will definitely become loyal. This is her charm! She doesn't believe that they won't fall in love with her drinks. She can also gather a lot more information around the Crown Prince.
Zhu Yunyun doesn't have a bad opinion about this Crown Prince. Although she hasn't been with him for long, the fact he hasn't done anything excessive ever since she gave that note means he's calm headed. She also likes secretly observing people, and the Crown Prince being in a high position tickets one of her heart strings.
Thinking this, a bright smile appeared on her face and looked at the prince.
"Deal, but they have to tell me that they were recommended by you. I'm not some all knowing god and can remember everyone's faces."
Chu Rensheng nodded his head and understood.
"You're only open at night, right? Wake up when the sun reaches the peak of the sky tomorrow and I'll be here waiting for you." Chu Rensheng said, finishing off his drink and leaving.
Dong hurried and finished his drink causing lines of fuzz to run down his face.
"Your Highness! Wait for me!"
Zhu Yunyun watched as the two left the store. For the first time coming to this world, she felt accomplished.
To be honest, just opening up this store took up a lot of her courage. All alone in this world as a girl is very stressful. She has tried to keep up her male persona, but when Chu Rensheng and Dong casually mention that she was a girl broke her internally.
She doesn't like her current position much, which is why she is trying to curry favour with the prince. Background is everything in this world. If she was spotted as a girl on the streets and an official takes a fancy to her, it's almost impossible to resist. Even if she does, they'd just use dirty tricks to get her.
Although she has been training this body in hopes to get stronger, dieting in this time period is very difficult with the lack of food variety.
Shaking her head, Zhu Yunyun walked outside her bar and hung the "Close" Sign on the door and then walked back in. After walking back in, she grabbed a piece of wood and jammed it in between the door.
After doing that, she blew out all the candles in her store and walked back to the front counter and began cleaning up the dishes.
