Cherreads

Chapter 2 - Strongest Gacha God ch2 First roll pt2.

On a bleached desert bathed in the ethereal Moon's glow, a young boy spun helpless across the coarse sand.

"Ahhh..."

Screaming frantically he embraced himself and rolled of a slope, descending the sands and leaving a cloud of dust behind him.

One's down, his body came to an abrupt stop and the boy one's screaming looked up at the sky.

"Huh?"

He made a confused sound, his gaze lingering too long on the somewhat cracked pale heavenly body above him.

"What's wrong with the moon....nono wasn't I hit by a truck?"

Pushing his body up, he patted the sand particles of his body and moved around.

"Wait before all of that. Where the heck I'm I?"

Right now it wasn't the fact that he had experience death nor the cracked moon that mattered.

It was the fact that he was completely clueless about his location.

"A desert but which one."

He knew the terrains but that was all.

Be it the Sahara or Arabian desert he couldn't tell were exactly he was.

"Is this even earth in the first place."

Raising his head and looking back up at the moon, he shiver.

It was cracked, a small part of it that is. Even so it was cracked neitherless.

He didn't know if Earth's moon had a crack but even if it did he doubted it would be as noticable as the one he was witnesing.

As he carefully watched the crack, a chilling sight began to take place when a greenish glow of light began to seep out the crack only to be banished by a golden light.

The scene was subtle and so fast that had he not be so aware of his surroundings he would have missed it but he didn't.

"Shit."

Feeling creeped out, he hugged his body and retracted his head, bringing it down to gaze at the grains of sand.

"Felix I think we'll not in Kansas anymore."

It didn't take an idiot to realize he was no longer on earth.

" The gaming industry sure had fallen."

All he felt was disappointed.

" All I did was threaten to delete a game. I wasn't even that close to the road but somehow, I fucking ended up dying."

The culprit was easy to identify so moving his fingers up threateningly, he pointed at the skies in anger.

" You fucking dev. So freaking petty you're isekai my ass for calling you game trash. You wait I'll came back for you."

He wasn't going to cry but he wouldn't forget.

If there was a way in, there must be a way out.

He didn't know where he was but he would definitely leave and get his revenge on whomever brought him here, a bonus would be if they were the game's devs.

" Well this doesn't seem like a place in Aurora Grander."

Now the matter at hand was trying to decipher his location.

" I've read a lot of fantasy novel and most of the have deserts in them so I can't identify which one."

Looking back at the moon, eerily orbiting the planet, his mind began to ran through all the games which had weird moons.

"Strange a Moon hiding deep dark secrets isn't a rare trope."

Frankly he got nothing, making him doubt if the world he was in had been from a fictional universe he knew about or not.

"For now let try finding some human settlement."

Using the coarse sand as his bed for the night sounded thrilling but he didn't want to wake up with a scorpion or at worst a snake besides him.

He was up for anything as long as it wasn't a reptile. Those scaly creature gave him the creeps.

"Argh.... just thinking about them make me sick."

His body shivered as he spoke with a pale face.

Eventually he began making his way up the slope he had rolled down from.

The march up wasn't fun in the least and as a matter of fact it was rigorous and demanding.

The sands sipping into his shoes did not make it easier either.

"I knew I should have wore socks."

He doubted his attire would have complimented each other well had he worn socks but a man could dream.

Minutes passed and he soon made it up the desert hill, the distant horizon dyed black except for a few spots illuminated by the sea of star above.

"Nature is beautiful when you least want it to be."

Resisting the urge to stand still and stare at the sky twinkling with stars, he gritted his teeths and made his way down the otherside of the slope.

He slipped a few times, tripped another more times and one's he was now on balanced elevation, sand steamed down his clothing like water cascading down a mountain.

With his neck bent and his back hunched, his posture could only be described as atrocious and so was the anger he was feeling.

As someone whom had never exercised in his life and had muscles that would get him bullied by kids. His current environment was his greatest enemy.

"Shit... if I had listened to the memes and touched grassed back then, I wouldn't be in this deep shit."

With his hair and clothing billowing under the winds carass, he cried out regretting taking the gaming path.

Tears wasn't going to do shit for him now and neither was regret hence he sobs soon died out and he continued walking towards the darkened horizon.

------------

A jounery of a thousand miles.

If he could describe his situation that would be excalty it.

A jounery had a start and his began the moment he stepped foot into the lands but that didn't mean just because he started didn't mean he would reach without overcoming anything.

Challenges would present themselves and the first was a four legged dark scale creature that meet him as he advanced toward.

It's steps were steady and bold, a large bulky tail whipping behind it as it stared up at him with glowing yellow eyes and razor sharp teeths ready to devour him.
