Chapter 143 - Graveside Reckoning, Heartfelt Reunion

The air felt heavy as I watched Harrison struggle to his feet, his body weak from the fifteen minutes of kowtowing. Eleanor supported him, her face twisted with a mixture of hatred and resignation. I remained unmoved, watching them with cold detachment.

"I've recorded everything," I said, holding up my phone. "Consider this the first installment of your monthly repentance."

"You've had your fun," Eleanor hissed. "We did what you wanted."

I arched an eyebrow. "Fun? Is that what you think this is?" I stepped closer, my voice dropping to a whisper. "This isn't about fun. This is about justice."

Harrison coughed violently, his frame shaking. For a moment, I felt a flicker of something—not quite sympathy, but recognition of his humanity. It passed quickly.

"I want to hear you say her name," I demanded suddenly, pointing to my mother's headstone. "Say her name and tell her you're sorry."
