[POV: Aarav]
I couldn't wait any longer.
Hangover drink in hand, I walked to her room. Just before I knocked, I paused.
Was she awake? Should I go in?
I opened the door quietly.
Aarav (softly):
"Bunny… if you're awake, drink this. It'll help with the headache."
She was already sitting up. Eyes slightly puffy, but alert. And watching me—like she was waiting for something.
She took the drink wordlessly, sipped slowly. Our eyes met. And stayed.
---
[POV: Bunny – moments earlier]
I remembered everything.
His arms.
The warmth of his voice.
The words I whispered in half-sleep… "Just say it… I'm tired of waiting."
I wasn't pretending anymore.
When he entered, I didn't know who'd speak first.
But when I finished the drink, I knew I had to break the silence.
Bunny:
"Aarav, do you want say anything "
---
[POV: Aarav]
My heart kicked into overdrive.
So she remembers.
Aarav
Yes , There's something I should've said years ago."
Bunny (curious):
"What?"
I took a breath. The air between us felt heavy—but honest.
Aarav:
"20 years. 7,305 days. 175,320 hours.
More than 10 million minutes… and through it all—it's been you."
Her eyes didn't move. She didn't blink.
Aarav (gently):
"When I left for Korea, I didn't date. I didn't look at anyone else.
Because… Bunny, I've always liked you. Always."
Her hand tightened around the bedsheet.
Bunny (softly):
"I waited too."
That whisper cut through me.
Bunny:
"I always hoped… maybe you'd come back. That we'd still be us."
I took a step closer—but didn't touch her.
Aarav:
"I wanted to kiss you last night. So many times.
But not when you were drunk. Not like that.
When I kiss you… I want you to remember every second of it."
She blinked back a tear. And smiled.
Bunny (whispers):
"I'm remembering now."
---
We didn't kiss. But it felt more real than any kiss.
Two hearts had waited years.
And now, they were finally speaking.
