Chapter 3: Bold Declaration
Seraphine, hearing his sweet voice, was thrilled. She didn't want to seem forceful, and accepting the kiss likely meant to her that he was also interested in her.
But first, she pulled him up onto the bed by grabbing him through his waist.
Kael, suddenly being treated this way, felt a bit weird and embarrassed.
Now they were sitting face to face with each other on the soft bed. He knew what was going to happen. His silver eyes looked into her emerald eyes, his gaze lingering on her pink lips.
Seraphine noticed his gaze and she didn't let him wait. She slowly leaned in, capturing his lips with hers. She didn't just stop there and sucked on his lips for a few seconds, while her fingers traced through his hair.

The kiss lasted for a few seconds as she let go.
Kael didn't wrap his hands around her head as it felt weird to suddenly be kissed by a stranger whom he didn't even remember how they met, or what had happened between them.
But one thing was clear—she wasn't a bad person. Being alone in a room with a woman hunter who was likely much stronger than him in this society without being harmed was already proof enough for him.
Those news stories he had seen countless times still haunted his memory. He never had bad experiences because he had his lovely Aunt and their daughter to protect him, as weak men like him would likely become like those cases on the TV.

What Kael didn't know was that his perception of the outside world was a little bit off because of someone controlling his TV channels, but it was still true that men weren't safe in this society.
Still, not to the extent he had perceived from others. Ninety percent of women alone with a handsome man like him inside a room would have likely pounced on him whether he liked it or not, but it couldn't be held true for everyone.
But he believed 99.99% of women to be on the forceful list.
Leaving his Aunt and his sisters, his family, and a few other women he knew of, they were only the exception.

The kiss ended. Now Kael was expecting her to tell him everything. Still, he wasn't going to lie that he enjoyed the kiss more than he had thought. The feeling of her soft lips sucking on his lips was addictive, and he felt euphoria.
'Kisses on the lips are much nicer than on the cheeks'—that was the conclusion Kael reached from it.
Seraphine had enjoyed her first kiss so much. She didn't know kissing someone you liked would feel this good.
'It was so good.'
The feeling of his lips, sucking on them gently—it just melted her body. Her heart was beating faster now. She felt a bit aroused too.
According to her words, she should be telling him everything now, but she felt it was too short. The kiss was nearly not enough. She wanted a longer and more passionate kiss.
She coughed a bit and her eyes weren't looking at his eyes directly, as words left her mouth.
"Ahem, that was just a trial. N-Now we do it for real."
Kael heard the words coming out of her mouth, and seeing how she was acting, she was clearly lying through her teeth.
He found her reaction cute for sneakily asking for one more kiss.
But the only reason he was accepting it was because he also wanted to kiss one more time, and this time, he didn't want to be passive, as the kiss felt very good.
He wanted to enjoy it more. He knew he would love it.
But he had to warn her that it would be the last of it, as he really needed to go home. He could already imagine police might be searching for him everywhere by now, trying to find him.
Today concluded the third day of his Aunt's work, which meant she would be back, as her work would never last longer than three days. In most cases, it would be only one to two days.
'Aunt Sel might be worried sick. I really need to go home as soon as possible.'
Kael let her know.
"Okay, but it would be the last time. I need to go home—my Aunt must be very worried about me. First, let me send a message so they should be fine. After the kiss, you have to tell me everything, and then I will leave."
After saying this, Kael went silent and looked deep into her eyes, as her answer now would determine if she really was as harmless as she seemed.
Seraphine heard his demand and she didn't find anything wrong with it, so she accepted it but not without a demand.
"Hmm, I'm fine with this, but I would drop you off at your home. It would be much safer."
'It would be safer, and I would be able to know where he lives too, hehe.'
A sigh of relief escaped from his mouth after he heard her response. Now he really believed she had no ill intentions.
As for her demand, it was completely fine with him—even better, as he didn't have to wait for the taxi.
"Okay, you can drop me off."
She was delighted to hear that.
Now he stood from the bed and walked to his school uniform. Seeing how she didn't do anything, he felt relaxed and first started wearing his pants as he was still only wearing his underwear.
Seraphine hadn't paid much attention to his body before, but now she focused on it while he wore his clothes. He was tall, with a lean, defined body. She could see his wide chest and abs on his stomach.
'His body is so hot, and it looks like he had worked hard for his body.'
Knowing that made her like him even more.
She even felt a bit relieved, as in the next kiss she was going to go all out. She already felt a bit turned on, and after the kiss, if he really was without any clothes, she didn't know if she would be able to control herself.

Kael now wore his white shirt, and then finally his school black blazer with red stripes on it and with a logo at his chest over it. Now he checked both pockets of his pants, but his phone wasn't there, then he checked the inner pocket of his blazer and found his phone.
He quickly turned on his phone. Thankfully, it wasn't dead. He could see countless missed calls and hundreds of messages from his Aunt and all three of his sisters.
He did think two of his sisters didn't like him much. Kaitlyn definitely hated him, and big sis Aurora couldn't be bothered to pay attention to him even a little. It had been years since he had talked to her and they lived in the same house—it was enough reason for him to think she also hated him, not openly as Kaitlyn did.
But he had his lovely Aunt Sel who showered him with so much love, and little Aria too, who definitely loved him too.
Still, seeing everyone had messaged him countless times and called, it seemed that Kaitlyn and big sis Aurora still cared about him even if just a little.
Aunt: I am sorry for everything, but don't worry. I am coming back home as soon as I can.
After sending the message, he turned the phone off and put it in his pocket. He felt the vibration on his phone and knew that she had sent the reply too. He didn't check it as he didn't want to talk on the phone and would meet her in person soon.
He was a bit scared too, as he was definitely going to be lectured by her this time. Still, he felt much more relaxed now.
After finishing his task, he went back to the beautiful green-haired lady who looked around his sister Kaitlyn's age, not much older than him. He took a seat next to her on the bed, a faint blush on his face knowing what was going to happen now.
But before anything, he asked her something he was curious about.
"You didn't tell me your name."
"Hmm, sorry! My name is Seraphine. I should have told you that before. Make sure to remember it—we are going to meet up a lot more from now on."
Kael was a bit surprised to see how open she was about her feelings. He felt she liked him. Seeing how she cared for him and they even had a kiss, that was clear, but he wasn't sure if they were in a relationship as of now. It felt too fast.
"What do you mean?" Acting clueless, Kael asked her, wanting to know more about her statement.
Seraphine didn't beat around the bush and said what was on her mind.
"I like you a lot. I feel it would be too sudden for you, so I would like to spend more time with you before finally declaring you as my boyfriend."
He felt she was very bold, as she didn't think he would reject her advances. Still, he did want to have a girlfriend, and she was beautiful, strong, and caring. He could see himself with her, and she was considerate of him too.
He had no reason to reject her advances.
"Alright, I don't mind spending time together with you, but don't be too sure how we end up in the future."
Seraphine showed a bright smile to his response.
"Don't worry, I will definitely make you mine, Kael~"
Kael didn't know why she felt so confident, but he did like her confidence. It made her look even more charming.
