Volume 1: THE PROPHECY
Chapter 1: The Beginning of Ending
BLACK SCREEN.
Suddenly, a loud sound bursts through — the noise of war raging. Explosions thunder. Screams echo. Smoke and fire fill the night. People run desperately through the chaos. In the middle of the panic, a boy stands motionless. Strangely, no one seems to notice him, as if he doesn't exist.
Everyone is running in his direction, yet their eyes pass through him.
He slowly looks up.
Above, two enormous shadows battle in the sky — clashing mid-air with blinding power.
The boy silently watches, frozen.
Suddenly, a massive rock crashes down from the sky, falling directly toward him.
BOOM!
A loud alarm clock blares like a rooster.
The boy — Rei — wakes up. His messy black hair droops over his nose. His sleepy blue eyes blink slowly. His face is dull and lazy.
He looks over at the alarm clock.
6:39 AM.
Rei mutters, eyes half-shut.
"The same damn dream… like hell. Why does this keep happening?"
From downstairs, his mother's voice rises.
"Did you wake up? Hurry up and get dressed — it's your first day! First impressions matter! Come eat your breakfast!"
Rei sighs and grumbles.
"Ahh… what the hell… breakfast?"
He slowly gets up, brushes, dresses, and walks out without replying.
"See you in the evening," he mumbles.
His mother calls out again.
"Wait! Your breakfast—"
But Rei is already gone.
He walks down the road in his uniform, his usual sleepy face unchanged. On his way, he passes a large tree and a river. For a moment, he stops.
He stares at the tall tree as the breeze passes gently through the leaves.
"Why does this tree feel… familiar?"
He checks his watch.
8:49 AM.
His eyes widen slightly.
"Crap… I'm late!"
Rei breaks into a run. His body moves with speed that hasn't been used in years. He dashes toward the school.
Eigen Gate School comes into view. Its large black gate stands boldly, a symbol of old tradition. It was built by Shigure Eigen, the father of the current principal, Shigure Raizen.
As Rei's right foot touches the school ground, a strange chill runs down his spine. The air around him seems to shift.
"I have a bad feeling about this place…"
Yet his expression stays blank, his face as tired as ever. A tiny smirk touches his lips.
"I'm so excited."
Inside Class 12-A, chaos reigns.
Students are playing cricket inside the classroom. The room feels more like a stadium.
Rei quietly enters and walks to an empty desk.
He sits. Leans back. Eyes turn toward the window, searching for the sky.
A drop of water falls on his face.
Rei jerks up, confused. He looks to his side.
A boy is squatting next to him, trying to catch a cricket ball. Sweat drips from the boy's forehead.
Rei flinches and thinks nervously.
"Why is there no space between us...? Is he... gay?"
Suddenly, the classroom freezes.
Complete silence.
Rei looks around.
Then — a voice.
A demonic voice echoes in his head. Only Rei hears it.
"Finally... the prophecy arrived."
The world turns black.
Dark ghostly hands reach out toward him. They crawl through the shadows, trying to grab him.
Then—
"What's your favourite food?"
The teacher's voice snaps Rei back.
He jumps to his feet.
"HOLY SHT!"
The classroom goes dead silent.
Two full minutes pass in awkward silence. The teacher is frozen, holding a chalk. It drops from her fingers. Her mouth is slightly open.
She thinks to herself.
"What does he mean… holy?"
Rei blurts out a weak apology.
"Ahh.....I meant Sorryyy..."
He sits down. The class continues, tense and weird.
Later, during lunch break, Rei sits alone in the canteen. Students whisper and glance at him.
Rei rests his face on his hand, lost in thought.
"Was that dream connected to the one I always have...? What is happening to me?"
A sudden voice interrupts him.
"Hey, Sht Lover. Mind if I sit?"
Rei blinks, startled. A boy with sharp spiky hair, dyed light blue and white, black eyes, and thick lashes grins at him.
Rei stares.
The boy sits anyway.
"I know why you shouted in class."
Rei says nothing.
"Prophecy?"
Rei's expression shifts.
"Who are you?"
The boy grins wider.
"I'm the handsome, beloved, funny, charming, all-star... Itsu—kiii.."
Rei silently gets up and walks away.
Itsuki follows.
Rei askes what you want?
Itsuki says"Hey! I had that same dream too!"
Rei replied with curious"did you?"and says
"Seriously, I think it was real! The whole class froze! That creepy voice — 'The prophecy has begun!' But... what does that mean?"
Itsuki says "Don't you wanna know about the prophecy matter? We can find it together, man. I think there is some mystery hiding in this school. It will be more fun. And if I die in that process... I'm going to haunt the school toilets."
Rei replies dryly.
"Make sure to flush it before you go."
Itsuki bursts into laughter.
"Pff-HAahha!"and says" seems like you accepted my request man"
He walks backward while laughing, facing Rei.
THUD!
Itsuki crashes into someone tall.
"Who the hell puts a wall in the hallway—"
He turns around slowly, like a spinning toy.
A tall man with long wild pink and white hair stands before him.
Cold green eyes. Blank, strict face.
Principal Raizen.
He leans in close to Itsuki's face.
"Did you ever see a wall speak with a serious face?"
Itsuki shivers.
"Am I the one going to die in the first episode...? I think I bumped into the final boss..."
Rei stands silently, not reacting.
Suddenly, Raizen's expression shifts.
He grins.
"Hahaha! What a cutie! Don't go bumping into others like that, okay? You might make someone fall in love punching your face~!"
He throws his arm around Itsuki's shoulder and spins his arms above itsuki head dramatically. And then with his cute expressive thing.he made his intro.
"TADA~! I'm Shigure Raizen! Principal of Eigen Gate! Master of all! Former tea monk! Current paperwork slave! And girls' crush!"
He twirls like a magician without brain.
Itsuki mutters to Rei.
"This dude would be like eye covered tall sorcer if raised by sugar and caffeine..."
Rei just blinks.
As they move to walk past—
Raizen suddenly turns serious.
"Don't you two want to know... about the prophecy?"
The hallway dims. Silence falls.
Itsuki nervously says,
"I think I forgot to made a flush in toilet ... so... so I should go to the bathroom..."
Raizen grabs him.
"Do you want to be dead?"
Rei calmly asks,
"Who are you, really?"
Thunder rolls.
Raizen grins.
"It was me!"I am raizen(thunder)
Then lightens his tone again.
"Ohoho, I hear many things! But prophecy talk is dangerous, boys. Meet me after school in my office. The prophecy is in motion, guys... Protect your minds."
He turns and walks away. His coat flows. His hair sways.
Itsuki whispers,
"He is so cool I think so."
Suddenly—
SLIP!
WHAM—THUD—WHOOSH—
He crashes down, landing in a dramatic kneel.
Raizen calmly says,
"Mop technique... neutralized."
Itsuki thinks fast and says with clumsy face
I thought wrong man!....I think
"He's too lengthy . That's why he didn't see the floor."
Rei replies,
"You're blaming his height?"
"NO, I blame his lengthy brother... so he can't see the floor."
Rei squints.
"...What do you mean, lengthy?"
"Every tall dude has one... ahhmm... Big genes... ahh eyw... Big fall."
Raizen rises with style.
"Tell the janitor to use a 'Wet Floor' sign. I almost awakened my second form."
"Second form?! Is he a Pokémon?!"
"More like a final boss with a syntax error, I think."
They walk on, still confused.
"I swear that guy knows everything… Is he a psychic? A ghost? A possessed tea seller?!"
"Maybe he's just bored. So he made fun of us."
Suddenly, three students block their path.
"Hey fresh meat. Heard someone screamed 'holy sht' in class today. That you?"
"No! That was... a sound-based ninja art! Ancient technique!"
"Don't drag that yellow hair-coloured small boy into this. He has more work than us."
"Let's see what's in your pockets, sht-loving boy."
Rei sighs.
The bullies step closer.
SPLASH!
A cold drink cup hits Bully 1's head.
"WHAT THE—?!"
A girl walks forward. Black-blonde short hair. Green eyes. Wears a black jacket. A café name tag on her shirt. Fingers taped.
"You guys seriously picking on someone at lunchtime? That's cliché as hell."
"What are you gonna do, coffee girl? Throw sugar at us?"
She exhales. Drops her bag.
5 seconds later...
"AAH!" "OOH!" "OUCH!"
All three bullies lie on the ground.
"...I think I just saw a free cult."
"I feel less tired."
She turns to Rei.
"You saw the hands too, didn't you?"
"The hands... and the voice? You had the dream too?"
"Dream? What voice? I was talking about those three idiots' hands. One of them touched my shoulder."
"Wait—you weren't talking about the creepy dream hands?"
"...What creepy dream?"
Rei stays silent for a moment.
"We had the same dream. But it's not like a dream. A demonic voice. Ghost hands trying to catch us. Then it said 'the prophecy has begun.'"
The girl pauses.
"Okay. I think it's time you two meet someone."
She fixes her bag.
"I work at the café down the street. I live upstairs. No parents. Just me and my grandmother."
"Oh... Sorry—"
"It's fine. I'm Yuki Sayura. Call me Yuki. But here's the thing... My grandma once told me stories about this school. About its past. Something about—seals? A ritual? I don't remember."
She looks at Rei.
"I never believed her. Thought it was old lady talk. But now..."
She lifts her eyes.
"If you really want to know the truth—come with me. You can meet her."
The boys exchange glances.
Yuki turns to leave but stops.
"One thing I remember, though..."
She looks back, eyes intense.
"My grandmother once said... she saw a giant door. A black one with a big lock on it. Standing right in the center of this school underground."And she said like
she heard... something breathing behind the locked mysterydoor ."
CUT TO BLACK.
