Chapter 14 - Chapter 14: A Love That Heals

"You're not broken, my love. You're blooming."

Siya never imagined someone could love the shattered version of her.

And yet, Ruhan did—without hesitation, without fixing her, without expecting her to change.

He just stood there, arms wide open, heart even wider.

She'd opened the darkest, ugliest chapters of her life... and he hadn't flinched.

He just said one thing that still echoed in her ears every night before sleeping:

"Your pain is not a burden. It's the poetry that made you who you are."

Since then, everything started to feel different.

💌 The Text That Changed Everything

It started with a message at 8:06 AM on a soft-clouded Friday:

🧸 Ruhan:

"Today's about you. Wear something comfy but pretty. No stress. I'm kidnapping you for a few hours. And bring that smile I love. Or I'll come pick it up myself 😌💗."

Her heart flipped.

She ran to the mirror, tied her hair with her favorite scrunchie, slipped into a pastel-pink flowy dress that made her look like a flower, and added a little gloss.

Not for the world.

For him.

She tiptoed out like a princess sneaking away from a castle built on rules and silence.

🛵 Prince on a Scooty

Ruhan was waiting at the corner of the street, leaning casually on his scooty, wearing a white shirt and faded jeans. But it was his smile—the "I've waited lifetimes for you" kind—that melted her bones.

He handed her a helmet.

A pink one.

With "Siya 💫" written in silver cursive.

"Custom made. Because you're not just any girl. You're my girl."

She nearly choked on her own heart.

🌿 The Secret Picnic Spot

He drove them 20 minutes away to the edge of the city, near an old temple and a quiet river bend. Trees arched over the road like nature had planned this love story centuries ago.

In a cozy clearing surrounded by wildflowers, there was a picnic blanket spread under a neem tree, decorated with fairy lights (battery ones, obviously 😄), and a small hand-written board:

"Princess Siya's Healing Throne 👑✨"

There were sandwiches cut into heart shapes, two cold cans of her favorite mango drink, her favorite masala chips, and homemade cookies he had baked with a YouTube tutorial the night before.

Yes—he baked.

Because she once casually mentioned she liked "chocolate chip cookies that don't taste like bakery ones."

He remembered.

💬 Soft Conversations & Golden Promises

They sat, side by side, hands barely brushing, eyes avoiding each other shyly—like a teen romance movie playing out in the middle of real life.

"Siya," he said softly, "if I could go back in time and stand between you and everything that hurt you, I would.

But since I can't—I'll just make sure the future never feels like that again."

She blinked, tears threatening, lips trembling.

He pulled her into his arms like she belonged there since birth.

✨ Princess Treatment, But Make It Dreamy

After the food, he gave her a tiny velvet box—not for a ring, but something more thoughtful.

Inside it was a bracelet with a lock charm and a note inside it:

"Your heart is safe now. With me."

Then, he knelt and tied her shoelace because it had come undone.

No dramatic music, no audience.

Just love. Quiet. Gentle. Real.

"Even if the world sees scars, I see stars in you," he whispered while doing it.

She felt like she was living inside a K-drama...but better, because it was her story.

🌅 Sunset & Soul Kisses

As the golden light softened and the wind played with her hair, he stood behind her, arms wrapped around her shoulders, resting his chin gently on her head.

"Do you still think you're not lovable?"

"I... don't know."

"Then let me remind you every day. Forever, if I have to."

Then, without a warning, he kissed her forehead. Slowly. Like a prayer.

Not rushed.

Not desperate.

Just pure.

The kind of kiss that says:

"I'm here. I'm not leaving."

💭 And Then...

On the ride home, she hugged him tighter than before. Her arms around his waist. Her heart against his back. She never wanted this moment to end.

Because for the first time in her life—

She wasn't someone's burden.

She wasn't someone's mistake.

She was someone's everything.

And in that moment, with the wind singing past her ears and her heart racing gently—

Siya realized she wasn't broken anymore.

She was blooming.

✨ To Be Continued...

But healing is a path. Not a destination.

Will their love survive when new storms arrive?

Or will this fairytale fade when reality knocks again?
