*Noah's POV*
Eight men surround me in the Bennett family's marble foyer. Their faces show professional detachment mixed with irritation. They're not here by choice. They're here because Dominic pays them.
"Take him down," Dominic orders. "But don't damage him too much. Mrs. Bennett still wants her apology."
The first two come at me from opposite sides. Basic pincer movement. Amateur hour.
I drop low and sweep the left one's legs. He hits the marble hard. His partner swings wide, telegraphing his punch from three steps away. I catch his wrist and use his weight against him, sending him into the ornate mirror behind me. Glass explodes across the floor.
Three down. Six to go.
"What the hell?" Liam gasps.
The next two are smarter. They come in together, trying to grab rather than strike. One goes for my arms while the other aims for my legs.
