Chapter 16 - Chapter 16 Who Wins and Loses

Mark suddenly seemed to remember something, and his tone was mixed with gloating: "Speaking of Snow Coin, I heard a joke a few days ago - there was a fool who actually went long on Snow Coin. I don't know if he really didn't understand or his brain was filled with water!"

Elena immediately understood who he was referring to, and a sarcastic arc appeared at the corner of her mouth. Sebastian Bo just smiled faintly when he heard it, shaking his wine glass and said: "Oh? There are such "warriors" who go against the trend? The foreign exchange market is not a place to guess blindly based on feelings. Such people are just fuel for the market."

A few low laughs sounded around. Sophia's heart sank - ace traders like Sebastian judged that Snow Coin would plummet, and Michael asked Lily to follow him to go long a few days ago. One is a top player on Wall Street, and the other is a novice who made some money by luck. The winner seems to have been decided long ago.

She clenched the juice cup with her fingertips and almost wanted to call Michael immediately, but she remembered that he refused to answer even unfamiliar numbers.

Meanwhile, Michael was sitting on the sofa in his Tribeca apartment, watching CNN's report on the border situation in Goose Country. Experts were all bearish on Goose Dollar, but he looked calm - the information given by the system was a hundred times more accurate than these analyses.

The phone vibrated, it was a message from Vivian Song:

[Michael, are you free? Let's have a badminton game as we talked about last time? [Badminton racket emoji]]

[Sure, send the address. ]

[Manhattan Sports Center Court 6. ]

Half an hour later, when Michael walked into the gym, Vivian had changed into a bright pink sports T-shirt and a black skirt. Her high ponytail swayed with her movements, and her nose was dripping with sweat, looking full of energy. "Michael, you're on time." She weighed the racket with confidence in her eyes.

After the warm-up, Vivian served the ball - a tricky high ball that went straight to the baseline. Michael took two steps back and swung his racket, but the ball hung softly in front of the net. "1-0." Vivian reported the score.

In the next few balls, Vivian showed her professional level: lobs, flat drives, and smashes were all accurate, and the score quickly opened to 7-1. "Your skills are not as good as the last flying kick." She tapped the net with her racket and teased.

Michael smiled: "I haven't played for a few years, my hands are rusty." But the effect of the physical enhancer is showing - his reaction speed and body coordination have increased dramatically during exercise, and every movement of Song Wenting and the trajectory of the ball have become clear in his eyes.

When Vivian tried to mobilize him again with a lob that repeatedly landed, Michael took a big step to the net, flicked his wrist to hook the diagonal ball, and the badminton hit the net and fell into Vivian's backhand area.

Vivian's expression changed from relaxed to surprised. She increased her strength and the ball went faster, but Michael covered the entire court with amazing running, and although his footwork was not standard, he always caught the ball at the last moment. The originally one-sided situation gradually turned into a fierce tug-of-war, and the sound of hitting the ball echoed crisply in the stadium.
