One month later—
Inside a cave, two small children hoisted a spaceship resting against the cave wall and carried it out.
Their tiny bodies carrying a ship several times their size—it looked almost comical.
But that's just how terrifying Saiyans are. Something weighing several hundred kilograms felt no heavier than a toy in their hands.
As they exited the cave, the uneven ground at the entrance revealed many pits and hollows, though recently filled in. Jagged stones littered the area, and up ahead, many trees had snapped in half or been uprooted. The leaves on the remaining branches had withered, and as a breeze blew by, they dropped silently to the ground.
It was obvious that this area had experienced a great battle not long ago.
Kaso, carrying a spaceship in one hand, stepped onto a flat piece of land and gently lowered the ship to the ground.
"Good, good—this spot wasn't destroyed."
Kaso let out a relieved sigh with a smile.
Hearing that, Ausbi'er's fair cheeks turned a rosy red, and she awkwardly averted her gaze.
During her Great Ape rampage, she'd wrecked much of the forest. Thankfully, this area—and more importantly, their ships—hadn't been damaged. Otherwise, they might've been stuck on this planet for life.
"Little Bii'er, we're heading to Planet Yardrat now—to learn a powerful secret technique!"
Kaso opened the ship's door and looked to Ausbi'er beside him.
"Mm!"
Ausbi'er nodded earnestly.
She had long since decided—wherever her Kaso-gege went, she would follow. Even if he brought her straight to Frieza's headquarters, she wouldn't flinch. To her, Kaso was her closest family in this world.
The two lay down inside their pods. The ship doors sealed shut, and bright flames erupted from the bottom as they blasted off toward the stars.
Originally, Kaso had planned to visit Namek first—but after Ausbi'er's rampage in her Great Ape form, he realized: survival comes first.
He needed to learn the life-saving technique of Instant Transmission before anything else!
In the vastness of space, the Milky Way stretched like a silver ribbon from northeast to southwest. Stars twinkled like diamonds, dotting the darkness in brilliant clusters.
Countless planets floated through the star sea—red, green, blue, and every color imaginable.
Some were colossal, dozens of times larger than Earth. Others were mere specks, barely a tenth its size.
A massive yellow planet loomed ahead, its surface dry and scarred, devoid of vegetation or water. Nearby orbited a lavender-hued planet, wrapped in misty purple clouds like a girl dressed in silk, dancing in the void—breathtakingly beautiful.
Two ships streaked through space, one after the other, diving into the lavender planet's atmosphere.
As they plummeted at extreme speed, friction ignited flames across their hulls—burning like matches in the sky.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Both ships crashed into a mountain valley, leaving behind two deep craters.
Kaso awoke from cryosleep, opened his pod door, and leapt out—
Only to find a humanoid alien standing before him.
The alien wore strange clothing. His skin had a purplish tone, with no hair. His facial features resembled a human's, but with much longer ears and narrower eyes. Gray markings dotted his head, and he stood quite short.
"Greetings, traveler from afar."
"Ah? H-Hello!"
Caught off guard, Kaso hesitated. The elder made a formal gesture of welcome, and Kaso tried to mimic it—albeit awkwardly.
"Who are you?"
"I am Husu," the alien replied calmly.
"A traveler from afar like yourself."
Husu?
Kaso's eyes widened. Isn't that the wise man of Planet Yardrat?
How did he know we were coming?
Just then, the other spaceship opened, and Ausbi'er jumped out.
"Kaso-gege, who is that weird-looking guy?" she asked, wary.
"Are you Saiyans?"
At first, Husu hadn't seen their tails and thought they weren't. But when Ausbi'er appeared—with a long tail wrapped around her waist—it became clear. Still, he wanted to confirm.
"Mm, we are. How did you know?"
Ausbi'er tilted her head curiously.
Husu led the two of them toward the city while explaining along the way.
It turned out the Yardrat elder had foreseen a future disaster that would strike their planet. And today, a Saiyan was prophesied to arrive—one who would help them overcome that catastrophe.
Wait a second…
Isn't this the plot where Goku lands on Yardrat after escaping Namek?
How was this happening to him instead?
And didn't the prophecy say one Saiyan? Why were there two now?
Kaso couldn't figure it out.
Husu himself was puzzled. In his vision, it had been a lone Saiyan who arrived. Why had it become two?
"Well, whatever. As long as they're Saiyans, it should be fine. Saiyans are known for their combat prowess. They'll be strong enough to handle it."
With that, Husu continued leading the pair.
"Elder, we came here to learn the technique called Instant Transmission!"
Kaso decided to be direct. He knew Husu was like the Grand Elder of Namek—wise and able to foresee the future.
If his heart was pure, there should be no issue learning Yardrat's secrets. After all, Goku had learned the same skill after crashing here.
"We of Yardrat welcome those who are kind and love peace," Husu replied, stroking his chin.
"You may learn the skill—but I have a condition."
"Please, tell us!" Kaso said seriously.
Husu explained: if a disaster struck Yardrat in the future, he hoped they would return and help.
"We agree. Thank you, Elder Husu!"
Kaso sighed in relief.
This matched what he knew—Husu had asked the same of Goku, though the anime had skipped the details.
"Very well. This room will be your lodging. Tomorrow, someone will come to begin your Instant Transmission training. Please rest well."
After arranging their accommodations, Husu departed—heading for the council chamber.
Inside Yardrat's Council Chamber—
"Are those two children really the saviors from your vision?"
"Well… there's been a slight change," Husu admitted.
"In my vision, only one Saiyan arrived—one with golden hair."
"Then what's going on here?!"
"Can those two really save us?"
The room burst into a noisy uproar.
"Enough! Quiet down!"
A commanding voice echoed across the room.
It was Supa, leader of Planet Yardrat.
He had been shaken by Husu's vision—an extinction-level event loomed ahead. But thankfully, a savior was also foretold.
With Supa's shout, the room quieted—mostly.
"Let's hear what the Wise One has to say," Supa said.
Husu stood and raised his hands. The murmurs faded, and everyone focused on him.
"Though these two are not exactly what I foresaw, I have a feeling…"
"That they may become even more powerful than the golden-haired Saiyan I envisioned."
He paused, then continued:
"As long as we maintain friendly relations with them, I believe they will save our planet in the end."
The moment his words fell, the room erupted once more.
The other elders had long trusted Husu. Every prophecy he'd ever spoken had come true. This time should be no different.
"You've heard the Wise One's words. Starting tomorrow, treat these two with respect and kindness."
Supa's voice was stern and clear.
"If there's nothing else, this meeting is adjourned."
