Alexandra smiled knowingly and nodded:
"Take all the time you need, sister - I'll fill you in on my boyfriend drama tomorrow."
Emma laughed and hugged Alexandra again before turning to Ryan:
"What's so urgent it couldn't wait till tomorrow?"
Ryan's eyes sparkled with excitement as he took her hand:
"Walk with me outside - I want to show you something."
They strolled into the evening air, hand in hand, until they reached a beautiful garden behind Emma's house.
Ryan stopped beneath a twinkling string of lights and turned to face her:
"Emma, from the moment I met you - even when our relationship was fake -
I knew you were someone special."
He pulled out a small box from his pocket and dropped to one knee:
"Will you be my real girlfriend... forever?"
Emma's heart skipped beats as she gazed at the stunning diamond ring.
