Auxiliary Volume: Fragments of the Living Code (Selected Excerpts)
đ Fragment I â On Currency: "The Weight of Value"
> "In Velmora, gold is not king. Trust is."
Long ago, bartering was replaced by memory-anchored currency: value tied to moments, not metals. The current transactional system is called Rhel, a living economic protocol based on Thought Signatures. When someone earns, buys, or sells, their mental imprint (what they felt, remembered, or intended) is recorded into the network.
Standard Units:
Rhelis â daily trade, small services
Glyph Marks â rare symbolic tokens, encrypted and only redeemable through ritual
Kharos â legacy-level wealth used only by ancient families, religious orders, and rogue coders
Trade Method:
Embedded sigil-stones on wrists scan and sync transactions through whispers, a silent network of pulses and glyph flashes
In black zones (places of spiritual disruption), people return to mark-bonding â writing temporary value into skin with ash, blood, or ink
> "A man's memory is now his bank â and his curse."

đ Fragment II â On the People: "The Populace of Velmora"
> "We live in a world coded into layers. Not everyone sees the same layer."
The population of Velmora is divided not by race or bloodline â but by perception tiers. After the War of the Five Tongues, human consciousness fractured into castes of awareness.
Surface Dwellers (The Known) â make up the visible majority. Farmers, vendors, students, laborers. Limited access to glyphic knowledge. Controlled by the Council of Truthbearers.
Layered (The Drifted) â individuals who drift between seen and unseen. Often healers, underground coders, or scholars who claim to hear "echoes." Frequently disappear.
Fragmented (The Touched) â awakened minds affected by direct contact with the tongues. Some are prophets. Others are considered mad. All are hunted by the Keepers of Morenth.
Despite oppression, cities bustle â hologlyph markets bloom at dawn, stone streets echo with coded song-riddles, and blackbirds still carry messages only some can read.

đ Fragment III â The Conspiracy of the Realms: "Sealed Above, Stirring Below"
> "There are five tongues. But six were heard."
The Conspiracy of the Realms is whispered only in forbidden texts. It claims that the spiritual realms were not passive creations but living territories that rebelled after their formation. While the five tongues formed the Domains, the Sixth Voice â unsanctioned and sealed â tried to rewrite the code.
This Sixth is known only as Akhzor â the Echo of the Unspoken.
Some claim it resides between the domains â where dream, death, and memory blur.
It is believed that each major city rests above a buried gate that channels the dead or grants visions.
The Council of Truthbearers hides this knowledge, using the faith of the public to cloak their ritual access to these gateways.
> "We call them realms of peace, but they breathe beneath our feet. The glyphs don't just record truth. They remember lies."
