Whistle~~ Whistle ~~~
The sound of whistling came, the leaves fluttering opene, the wind howling between those rocky hills.
A boy walked slowly towards the foot of mountain, his eyes extremely black, not black in real sense but black as dark circles.
His eyes were of black and brownish colours, his hair black and messy with curling, he hated it, but he could only hate it and envy those straight hairs.
His face, not that heaven defying but has a little spark of handsomeness, his jawline had a little beard.
The boy was carrying a bunch of logs and some fruits on his back, an axe was embedded on the logs.
He walked down slowly, contemplating why he ran from his house.
'I regret it..very much, i know that it was on a whim but nothenless they were my parents, sigh there is no medicine of regret.'
The boy shool his head and continued walking down on the rocky path while avoiding the little stones.
It was about to be evening, the sun was on the verge of vanishing, it's rays were flickering on the gaps of trees.
The boy named Ethan had a very confusing background or family we could say.
Thump~~ Thump~~
As he was about to think of his parents origin his body lost the balance, his steps faltering, he clutched a nearby tree.
Ethan was bewildered, his senses sharpening, he felt it clearly, the ground was shaking abruptly.
He knew that it was not new in nepal region, here earthquakes came frequently.
But he felt differently this time, he lived in nepal for 3 months and in these three moths he had witnessed a earthquake once.
But this time the very core of earth shook, his mind trying to think of the unknown phenomenon.
As he was surveying his surroundings, his black eyes widened, Ethan saw a blue shimmering oval shape thing hovering in the air.
Ethan's body trembled, only he knows, was it in fear or excitement.
The blue glowing structure was touching the ground a little. He had saw and read these type of things, they were clearly portals described in those novels.
Ethan's breathing quickened, he was not a nerd but he definitely has some experience in reading novels and manhwas.
His habit of reading only left when he ran from home and came in nepal, he focused on survival, his all time going in earning money and taking care of his daily needs.
Ethan dropped the logs on the ground, his hand moving swiftly towards the axe.
It was a sharp axe, he sharpened them daily to cut the woods in mountains.
He gripped the wooden quill and took a step towards the portal.
He knew that it was not a novel, nor a fantasy, it was real, in front of him, he could feel the pulses.
As he took more and more steps towards the portal, his skin began crawling, his mind spinning.
He took a round observation of the portal, at last coming on his original place, and then it happened.
His body began etching like thousand ants were crawling on it.
He clutched his head and fell on his knees, the axe already falling on the ground.
Ethan couldn't understand the strange pain in his head and body, it was like something was changing in him...or was it coming on its original place.
As second passed a slow muffled pained voice came from Ethan's throat, as seconds ticked more a piercing scream came.
Ethan was suddenly writhing on the ground, his body curling up, he screamed with all his strength.
By the spectacle it could be discerned that he was in very much pain..the very much here held real meaning.
It was literally very much for him, and his eyes were closed automatically after a minute of pain.
He fell unconscious, his sharp axe embedded on the same place even now, the shimmering blue portal became a little deeper.
Wind howled, the leaves fell on his face, time passed and after 15 minutes Ethan woke up in a daze.
Clutching his head, he could feel it, he was stronger from before, not that much but he was.
As Ethan tried to stand up he felt something, his vision darkened, next second he was standing in a void, complete darkness.
In between that dark abyss he floated, he eyes fell on a ethereal figure.
He could feel the familiarity from that figure, after staring it for a minute he could clearly see it was him.
Ethan was standing in a daze while watching his own little etheral figure standing between the void.
Next second he was back in his place, eyeing his surroundings he could see little particles floating.
He felt a familiar and unfamiliar feeling, he felt a deep desire, he felt much more.
But in simple he felt that if he desired he could absorb them, the floating particles.
Ethan's hand gripped on a tree beside him, and his eyes widened, he could feel it, if he willed he can absorb the vitality coursing in the tree.
He thought and thought and thought again and after reaching on a conclusion that it was not harmful to him...he willed it.
As he focused on absorbing it, his mind suddenly became clear, he could feel something coming in him, a source of life pierced his body.
Ethan's eyes widened as he saw the tree withering at a visible pace, he could see the leaves becoming gray and then wither and then falling on the ground.
As he basked in the feeling of absorption, he clearly dried the tree of it's life force.
After the tree withered he removed his hands from it.
Ethan could feel, he was rejuvenated, he could feel the pain fading away at a abnormal pace.
As understanding dawned on him, Ethan puffed a whirlpool of smoke, his eyes clearing, his steps halting.
He knew, he felt, he experimented, he could see that he had some unknown ability.
He felt that he could absorb anything and everything.
These two words held meaning, anything and everything.
He felt a very strong pressure on his shoulders, he knew what it meant.
Maybe he was not alone who awakened the dormant powers in him.
Maybe more humans awakened something, but it was not time on dwelling on this things.
He gripped the axe and pulled it from ground, walking towards the portal.
He knew that it was real life, he knew he could die, but the confidence esteemed from his soul.
He waled and walked till he reached the portal, directly pushing his right leg in the portal, something ethereal happened.
Ethan began disappearing, his body disolving in thr portal....
The unknown awaited him, his steps would determine his life and death...
