After what felt like eternity, the meeting was finally over. It felt like the world was spinning too fast and I felt nauseous. I ensured that everybody had left the meeting hall before going out. I felt so dizzy that I had to use the wall as a support in order not to fall to the the floor. "Is phi alright?"I was turned around startled, loosing my balance. "Phi, be careful", Jay, my mentee warned with concern lacing his voice, as he held me to avoid me falling. "Tsk, you scared me just now nong Jay", I said pulling my body away from his hold. I felt so embarrassed that my mentee had seem me in a embarrassing position. "I am really fine", I added to assure the young man who raised one of his eyebrow in disbelief. "Come on let's get back to work", I said dragging him along with me to conceal my embarrassment....
"Finally", I muttered, stretching out my muscles. After four hours of typing and sorting, o was done. I checked the time and it read 7pm. I turned around and was shocked to see that every other person had clocked out leaving only me. "Tsk tsk", I exclaimed before packing my bag and prepping myself to go home. "Phi? Are you done?" I jumped when I heard a voice calling me. "Oi, Jay, I have told you to stop sneaking up on me", I replied in a high pitched voice. "I am sorry phi. I just like seeing your face whenever I scare you", Jay replied with a chuckle. I turned my back to him to hide my embarrassment but, it made him laugh at me more. I turned to give him a side eye before taking my bag. "Oi, phi. Are you angry at me? I am sorry phi", Jay apologized but, I knew that it was not a sincere apology. He likes to tease me and bully me a lot which I find absurd because, it was supposed to be the opposite. Perhaps, it was because I was not strict with him like other mentors and mentees. "Uh, whatever",I replied shrugging his hands that were clapsed around my shoulder. I took out my phone from my pocket to check the time and it read 7pm. "Shiaa!"I exclaimed shocked by how much time had gone without me realizing it. "What happened?" Jay asked visibly shocked. "Nnothing, I was just shocked by how much time had gone", I replied relieving him from his worries. "You should go home , it is already quite late", I advised before putting my phone back into my pocket. "But, I want to go with you
My house is not too far from yours. In fact, we should stop by q restaurant to eat. You haven't eaten all day. Now that I think about you don't eat much. That's why you are this thin",Jay ranted shocking me. How dare this little bastard call me thin. "Ai hia, how dare you address an elder in such am informal tone", I scolded not because I was annoyed but because, I wanted to abuse my power. "I am sorry phi, let us go before it gets darker", Jay said before dragging me along.
