š¤ Episode 8 ā Scars Unseen
[Scene 1 ā Secret Headquarters ā Night ā The Boss's Office]Dim lighting. Cigarette smoke curls in the air. Elyar stands before the Boss, head lowered, fists clenched.
Boss (with unbearable coldness):"I told you to gain her trust. What did you do instead? Nothing but hesitationā¦ and delay."
Elyar (softly):"Iā¦ I'm doing my best."
Boss (interrupting ā voice drops to a terrifying low):"Your best? We are not playing games, Elyar. We are fightingā¦ to avoid being crushed."
[He pauses, then signals to two men standing by the door.]
Boss:"Teach himā¦ what delay truly means."
[The men move toward Elyar. He remains still, head bowed. A harsh sound of whips. A sharp cry.]
[Elyar drops to his knees, gasping. Blood trickles from the corner of his mouth.]
Boss (watching):"Remember this painā¦ because it is nothing compared to what you'll feel when you see her destroyed before your eyesābecause you weren't man enough."
[He kneels, grips Elyar's chin, and forces him to look into his eyes.]
Boss (in a devilish whisper):"Tell meā¦ how many times did you see your mother beg? Beg me?"
[Elyar freezesāhis eyes shake. Flashback: his mother lying on the couch, weakly whispering:]"Don't become like himā¦ pleaseā¦ never become like him."
[Silence. The Boss releases Elyar's face and rises.]
Boss (with deadly calm):"You have until the end of this week. If the girl isn't hereā¦ I'll do to her what I didn't even do to your mother."
[He walks out. Elyar collapses behind him, silent and broken.]
[Scene 2 ā Elyar's Room ā After Midnight]Low light. Elyar lies on his bed, half his face buried in the pillow. Whip marks are visible on his back. His body aches, but the pain inside runs deeper.
Narration:"When pain becomes familiarā¦ it is no longer the body that screams, but the soul."
[He breathes slowly, trying to sleep, but his mind won't rest. Flashes of Rei laughingā¦ the Boss threatening himā¦ his mother's final words echoing in his head:]"Don't become like himā¦ pleaseā¦"
Elyar (whispering):"Momā¦ what if I fail to protect her?"
[Scene 3 ā School Courtyard ā Lunch Break]Elyar sits alone, resting his head on one hand. His face is pale, eyes weary. No food before him.
[Rei walks over holding a small lunchbox.]
Rei (cheerfully):"Oh no! Has your appetite died too? That's dangerous!"
[He doesn't respond. She places the box in front of him.]
Rei:"Try thisā¦ Don't worry, I didn't cook it."
[He glances at her dully. She notices a bandage on his hand.]
Rei (stepping closer):"What's this? You're hurt?"
Elyar (pulling his hand away):"It's none of your business."
Rei (softly, sincerely):"Stillā¦ I'll take care of it."
[She pulls out a plaster from her jacket and gently grabs his hand. He stares at her, stunned and a little embarrassed. His cheeks flush lightly.]
Rei (as she applies the bandage):"There. Much better. You're incredibly careless, you know."
[A moment of silence. Their eyes meet briefly. Then he suddenly pulls his hand back.]
Elyar (coldly):"Mind your own business."
Rei (with a sad smile):"Maybeā¦ but no one else cares about you, do they?"
[She turns and walks away. Elyar watches her, then murmurs:]
Elyar:"And maybeā¦ I don't deserve it."
[Scene 4 ā Gang Headquarters ā The Boss's Private Room]
[The Boss stands before a digital map. Rita and Himura are beside him.]
Boss:"The FBI system I need to breach holds secretsā¦ secrets that, if uncovered, will destroy us overnight."
Rita (eagerly):"I'll do whatever you say. I'll push Elyar away from Reiāeven if I have to eliminate her."
Boss (shouting):"You won't lay a finger on herā¦ until I command it."
Himura (mockingly):"And who says Elyar will obey? Seems like he's cracking."
Boss (with a deadly glare):"Elyar doesn't need to crackā¦ he needs to be shattered."
[Scene 5 ā School Rooftop ā After Class Ends][Rita sits silently. Himura watches her from a distance, then approaches.]
Himura:"All thisā¦ for a boy who doesn't love you?"
Rita (eyes gleaming):"I don't loveā¦ I want. And I always get what I want."
Himura:"Strangeā¦ I thought we were on the same side."
Rita:"We're playing, yesā¦ but not for the same prize."
[They lock eyes. Tension.]
Rita (coldly):"I'll destroy that little girlā¦ no matter what it takes."
[Scene 6 ā Final Scene ā Dark Room in the Headquarters ā The Boss Alone]
[Camera zooms in on his face as he stares at Rei's image on the screen.]
Boss (deep voice):"A winning cardā¦ must be played at the perfect moment."
[He shuts off the screen. Turns to face the camera, grinning wickedly.]
Narration:"When the devil smilesā¦ something is about to explode."
