Jayden cracked his knuckles, metal sword in hand. "We'll pull this off. Just make sure to give me backup."
"I've got your back," she smiled.
They began their journey across dangerous lands — scorching deserts, flooded forests, blazing heat zones, and warped gravity ruins.
Jayden once got swallowed by a mud pit. Iris pulled him out with a tree branch.
Then, a giant crow snatched Iris's book — Jayden chased it all the way up a cliff to its nest and fought it back, sword in hand.
Three days of survival, laughs, traps, and teamwork.
Now they stood at the foot of the boss's spawn zone.

The smiles vanished.

Three glowing platforms of paper flew toward Jayden. He stepped across them mid-air like stairs.
"Nice work, Iris!"
Katana was fast.
He dashed in —

Jayden barely blocked, but got kicked anyway.

Slammed into a boulder — HP -5%
"I'm not done yet!" Jayden growled from the rubble.
The boss spoke: "Why have you come here, weaklings?"
Jayden wiped blood from his lip.
"Because… I want to become STRONG!!"
It started to rain.
Iris raised her book. "PAGE NUMBER ONE!Lift the warrior with pillars of parchment! Elevate his blade to the heavens —PAPER PILLAR!!"
The earth split — a column of paper blasted Jayden into the sky.
He soared high. Three red lines glowed.
Iris shouted: "PAGE NUMBER TWELVE!By seal and fire, bind the arcane threads of the enemy's spellwork!BURNING SEAL!!!"
Enemy skill-channeling interrupted!
"NOW!!" Jayden screamed, rage in his eyes.
"SWORD... THRUST!!!"
Boss HP -20%!
"PAGE TWO!Lift and launch the blade-bearer once more!UPLIFTING WALL!!"
Jayden was launched even higher.
Katana jumped up —
SLASH!!
Jayden parried, but the force sent him hurtling straight down like a bullet.
CRASH!!!
Iris screamed. "JAYDEN!!"
"I can't… keep up with these trails!" Jayden winced.
Katana dove like a meteor.
BOOOOM!!!
Iris's book flared again.
"PAGE NUMBER FORTY-SEVEN!!By the decree of the highest scroll! Unlock the final seal of paper mastery!GREAT PAGE MAGIC!!!"
As the dome began forming, waves of enchanted paper spun around Jayden — his speed slowed naturally, shielding him from fatal impact.
Impact softened! HP penalty reduced.
Katana slammed into the arena — a shockwave blasted rubble everywhere.
Iris's paper wall absorbed the blow, but her body trembled.
Blood poured from her nose, ears, and eyes.
"IRIS!!!"
"I need… to rest…" she said weakly.
Jayden clenched his sword tighter.
"Then I'll finish this."
Katana was pulling his blade from the ground.
Jayden's eyes flared.
"YOU'RE OPEN!!"
"DESCENDING STRIKE!!!"
SHINKKK!!!
Jayden's blade sank into the boss's neck.
Boss HP -40%!
"HOW DARE YOU!!!"
Katana kicked Jayden in the gut —
BOOM!!
Jayden was launched across the arena.

"Iris!! Now!!"
"I got you!" she coughed blood.
"Jayden… I've done my part… now do yours…"
Her body fell.
Jayden's rage exploded.
A ring of enchanted paper spun around the boss — forming a dome.
It sealed.
Katana roared from inside — but it was no use.
Boss "KATANA" DEFEATED!

Jayden ran to Iris and dropped to the ground with his knees.
She was breathing… barely.
"Hehe… guess I used too much… mana" as she coughed.
"Don't say that! You'll respawn, right!? This is just a game!"
"No… Jayden in this world death is permanent…so they is no next time for me!"
She smiled, tears falling.
"Take my book… okay?" as she gave the her book to Jayden.
Her hands fell as she said her last words.
"Thank you for the wonderful memories Jayden! thank y-"
Her body froze in his arms and shattered like glass!
"No… no no no… Iris iam so sorry!" as Jayden cried for a long time!
After a while.
He opened her book — the lock was gone, and the chains fell off.
"In this world... there are Rulers. Talents beyond grasp. Passion beyond limits."
"There exist 7 beings... above even the War Lords."
"They are called... the 7 SUPREME KINGS." As the book explained.
