Chapter 4 - Chapter 004

Kaira drove out of the house at a high speed, emotions running through her. She had not expected to be welcomed this way, especially not by the girl who had been their maid since they got married. She was unsure of what to believe after what she had discovered at the hospital. The love they had shared since college had tarnished in the blink of an eye, and her husband did not even feel any remorse. He had chosen the maid over her, that was the last thing she had expected.

Unsure of where she was driving, she screeched the tires to a halt, panting heavily as she rested her head on the steering wheel, crying uncontrollably. She cried until she could no longer feel the tears streaming down her face.

She lifted her head from the wheel, staring at the street as cars passed by. The next moment, she turned on the car engine and found herself driving toward a bar. Soon, the drive ended. She wiped her face and turned toward the entrance.

As soon as she stepped inside, she was greeted by the sound of loud music buzzing in the bar.

She exchanged pleasantries with the attendant before requesting a whole bottle of wine. Once served, she began drinking, shaking her head to the rhythm of the song.

The thought of her husband crept into her mind, and she began to tear up but quickly wiped the tears away. Not wanting to be bothered, she picked up her glass of wine, stood up, and joined the ladies dancing to the loud music.

They moved their bodies, shaking their heads, their hair swaying as they danced. Within minutes, the song changed, and the ladies let out a loud scream of excitement.

Kaira dropped the wine bottle and went all in as the song flowed. She moved her body toward a figure who had been seated on the couch, watching the ladies dance.

The figure did nothing but stare at her, watching how she moved her waist to the beat, it excites him.

Using his fingers, he gestured for her to come closer, which she did without hesitation. Standing in front of him, she leaned over and ran her hands over his body.

The figure reached for her butt, guiding her on his thighs.

Kiara didn't stop; instead, she swung her hips over his thighs, her head tilting back. The tension between them grew hotter, and the figure couldn't help but wonder who she was.

He had been coming to this bar regularly since flying into the country, but he had never been interested in a woman like her. They try to get his attention, but he's never spare them a glance not until Kiara showed up. All he did was get one for a night, and trash her the next day.

The way she moved, the way her hips swayed to the rhythm of the music, it was impossible not to notice her, even in the dim light.

Her flared gown hugged her curves in all the right places, making him even more intrigued.

"You smell nice." She whispered in his ear, a smirk forming on his lips.

All he could think was the alcohol must have started taking effect on her. But unbeknownst to him, Kiara could hold her liquor well, it would take a lot more to truly affect her.

His hand trailed up her thigh, pulling her gown higher, revealing more of her smooth skin.

"Thank you. You don't smell bad, either. You must be using one of the premium collections from Whiff Wonder's." He murmured, making her pause mid-dance.

She was stunned. How did he know? She had always bought her cologne from there, exclusively from their most expensive collection.

"Is something wrong?" He asked, his fingers already tracing circles along her inner thigh.

Before she could answer, he slid his hand behind her, his fingers pressing against the thin fabric of her underwear.

Kiara shivered as his hand ventured deeper, her body reacting to his touch.

"No… I'm fine. Do… you use the brand?" She managed to ask, though her voice wavered.

He smirked, watching her eyes flutter shut as he teased her.

"Should I increase the speed?" He murmured, his voice laced with mischief.

Kiara let out a soft gasp, her legs pressing together instinctively. She wanted to stop, but at the same time, she didn't.

"That's a yes." He chuckled, his fingers moving with more purpose.

She threw her head back, gripping his shoulders as waves of pleasure coursed through her. She bit her lip, trying to suppress the sounds threatening to escape.

And then, he pulled away.

Her eyes snapped open, a mix of shock and frustration washing over her. Without thinking, she scrambled off his lap and disappeared into the crowd.

"Where did she go?" He muttered, rising to his feet. He scanned the room until he spotted her at the exit, slipping out of the bar.

Without hesitation, he followed. But by the time he reached the door, she was already gone.

His men approached, sensing his urgency.

"Boss, are you leaving?"

"Not yet. I was following the woman who just drove off."

"There's no point, boss. She's already lost in the city. Even if we go after her now, we won't find her."

He exhaled sharply, glancing back toward the bar.

"How about you describe her? I'll ask the attendants if they know who she is."

He glanced at his guard, patting his shoulder.

"Leave that to me. Any updates? Have you tracked him down yet?"

"They're still on it, but I believe we'll find him soon." The guard replied.

It had only been a week since he arrived in the country, and boredom had settled in, until he met Kiara.

"I think I'll be staying here longer. There's something I lost… and I need to find it."

The guard furrowed his brows. Lost something? He wondered but kept his thoughts to himself.

The man exhaled sharply, reaching down to adjust himself.

"I can't believe she got me worked up and then ran off." He muttered.

Frustration flickered in his eyes before he turned back to his guard.

"Find me someone for the night. Until I can track her down."

"Yes, boss."

He smirked. "Give me thirty minutes. Then we'll head back in."

With that, he turned and disappeared back into the building.
